Picture Extravaganza: Are you Kidanied out?

Love your photos, I'll have to make a point to stay there in the future, that's after I try BLT, can't wait till that trip in January of 2011.

It's going to be fantastic to hear all about BLT soon, eh?

You didn't Kidani me out! I can't wait to get there!!!

Thanks for sharing all your lovely pictures!

Kathy

These are wonderful photos! I think you've done a great job showing the wonderful details that are all around the resort at Kidani Village. I can't wait to go back!

at the end. (Well, not quite. I want to do my birthday at the BW. But my goodness I need some sleep - and maybe a rocking chair :lmao:- to move on to new thread. I don't know how these regular TRers do it. This is like a part time job. :surfweb: )

Some - hmmm - what should I call them? Some take a moment and breathe in the smallest portraits of our resorts. I can't say I ever noticed any of these before at the main lodge. And I've been there so many times.

And that's the beauty in slowing down.

Thanks everyone. Enjoy your trips. I would like to actually stay at Kidani one day! :rolleyes1

Thanks for sharing your awesome photos - I can't wait to stay at Kidani. :goodvibes Seeing loads of pics and reviews only makes we wish for next year to come around even more quickly!

the Kidani washroom - I forget that's a Canadian word. :lmao: I learned that on this birthday trip. I forget sometimes. What do you say restroom? :confused3

Here in the UK, we say bathroom. :upsidedow Try asking for one of those while visiting the parks - the CM's always look puzzled and wonder why someone would need to "have a bath" there! :lmao:

Thank you for the fabulous pictures! I cannot wait for our first trip home next summer!

My head is hurting. We say bathroom all the time as well. All the time. Now I can't even remember what is American and what is Canadian that's different. :lmao: That can't be good. :rolleyes1 Maybe the use of bathroom is the difference and I've totally confused my own head. Which isn't that difficult.

I just know restroom isn't in my vocabulary.

It's like napkin and serviette. Serviette always gets stares.

Oh Lord. I must get off the disboards. :dance3:

still not kidani--ed out but i cant wait for my july trip...im now more excited than ever:lovestruc:banana::love:

How can anyone get kidanied out?! ;) ((Thank you so much)) for all of your posts/pictures. Our first Kidani visit is in Aug, and I can't wait!!!

What is so wonderful about each resort is how everyone has their own "set of eyes" looking at it. I LOVE your pictures. I showed my oldest your "window series", now she's all impatient to see it for herself in August.

I have but one word to say........WOW!!!!!!!!

And I can't wait to stay there in Sept.!!

OK...I guess that was more than one word. :lmao:

Have fun.:goodvibes

Lots of conversations about summer at WDW. Me - I don't love summer days. Why? Mainly because it's a full time job covering my skin from the Florida sun. :cool2:

But I adore, absolutely adore, summer nights in Orlando. So wonderful. Those nights make a summer vacation a must for me.

So true. Absolutely. Disney really is in the details.

But you're speaking to Ms. Wordy. So it fits.

Yippeee! The Maji Pool Bar .... our new home within our new home! :drinking1

Thanks for posting these Lisa! We won't be able to explore Kidani until November!

You're welcome. I would love to spend many a day at that bar. Have fun.

Those pictures were gorgeous!

Bathroom is totally normal for America. If we're at home and get up from the couch and someone says "where are you going?" (b/c maybe they want you to get something from the fridge if you're going in there already), you answer "the bathroom" (if that was where you were going).

But if you're out and about you might say "restroom" b/c that sounds less, well, intrusive, less obvious, b/c Americans don't think about the "bath" part of "bathroom". And signs say "restroom". So if you are at a restaurant you might say "restroom" but at home you're likely saying "bathroom".

Now when I visited Ireland, the bathroom was where they had the bath/shower, and the *toilet* was where they had the...well, you know.

I love the giraffe picture where you can see him/her eating the leaves off the tree and see the purple tongue. Great Shot :thumbsup2
