Pics or Description of Lock on Verandah?

We are booked Cat 5. I am starting to have nightmares about DD3 or DS5 getting out on the verandah w/o us. Can someone assure me that the lock is REALLY good - so I can sleep before February! Can you describe it - or maybe have pics! Thanks so much - I just have this weird fear I need to get over.

Our lock was broken but the door is so heavy they won't be able to get it open anyway.

The door is very heavy and bulky. The lock is at least 6 feet off ther floor. You also turn the handle on the door as another locking mechanism

They will be fine

I am 37 years old and I could not get it open. I had two small kids (5 and 3) with me and I never was concerned. That puppy locked solid.

Our 6 year old could open ours.... The lock is about 6 feet high & she could not reach that, so we just kept it locked while we were not on the verandah.

I had a very hard time getting the door open! So there is nothing to worry about! I was worried about lots of things before we went...then when we got there...all was forgotten! Have fun!

Thanks for the replies. Do you ever get those weird fears that you can't get out of your head. That is me and this door. Thanks for letting me know my kids can't just stroll out. I'll still watch them....but I think maybe I'll sleep tonight. Thanks again.

The locks work great. The doors are so heavy, even for an adult.
