Pics of some Fort updates

We went down to the fort for a few days and got to see some of the new stuff going on. The 600 loop or whatever it's called looked like crap and the Meadows will never be the same. I'm no TCD of course but I'll try to describe and post the pics best as I can.

This is the 1300 loop as you drive in and take a right. The only thing I really see is more of the same. Bigger pads and I'm sure a new grill and picnic table will soon follow.

I'll post this and see what the pics look like. I'm sure they'll have the 1300 cleaned up quickly and back making tons of cash.

The area under construction was one of my favorite areas to fish. The nice thing was, is there isn't a cart path there and the area was pretty peaceful.

I'll pretty much just post pics. They are pretty self explanatory.

It warmed up enough Sunday to get some lines wet. The bank from the movie screen all the way down to the bridge behind the Meadows had guy's, gal's and kiddies trying their luck. I saw a few bream but no bass. I fished with a Rooster Tail Lure Saturday and Sunday but kept getting skunked. This was a new designed one I've never tried and it didn't work at the fort lol.

Frank will be proud to see the fishermen.

Before we left today I went over to get coffee at the Meadows and dropped off at the pool to see if there was really anything going on or if they would just say it's closed and nothing hapening. Well, I got surprised and saw a ton of people working there. There were lot's of coats types walking around pointing out things. This CEC or CCE Co. must be a preferred contractor as they are doing the loop renevations and the pool.

This pic was taken facing the sidewalk that comes from the 1500 loop side heading towards the Meadows. That truck in the background and another one was blocking that whole road and it looked like they didn't want peeps over there.

Here's some of the suits. They were busy ordering people around.

Here is a pic facing the kiddie pool. They had all the chairs and tables stacked up. There was also 2 lifeguards there too. Not sure why because they were just sitting. Maybe a regulation since water was still in the pool.

Uh oh. It's the suits again. There were plans in each set of hands. Hopefully they all got the same copy lol.

This is my last one. This is where you go from the picnic table area to the "Snake" Bar. BTW, Cliff isn't open lol.Sorry the pics are not the greatest but I was in a hurry. I'm wanting to see some concrete being busted out. Somebody come on and post.

I hope all that activity will be worth it.

I don't believe I've ever seen so many folk fish'n at any one hole at Disney before! It's good to see folk take advantage of fish'n fun at the Fort, I'm glad to see the kids fish'n.

Every time I got close to a front view they walked the other direction. She looked good from a distance but never saw her face.

Thanks Andrew, I tried my best to describe the pics so the readers can understand what's going on. You set the bar pretty high so I'll take the compliment. We are planning on going back in late March, early April for Annie's Spring Break. Hopefully the pool will be all new. I'm looking forward to it. I told the manager of the Meadow(s) that I didn't like the 600 loop addition. She kinda frowned and didn't say anything else. I got the feeling she didn't like it either.

1400 is still the same. I will say that the sites early in the loop are more shaded. The one's in the bottom of the horseshoe if you will are very open and not a site I'd be happy with.
