I've read a bunch of threads on the dress code, does anyone have any pics of their outfits to give me a better idea? I don't know if we will have time to go back to POFQ to change... so I was thinking we could wear kahki shorts and tshirts to MK, then have light weight, nicer shirts in our backpack to change into before heading over (or rent a locker).... thoughts?

You don't need photos and you don't need to change. Khaki shorts and tee shirts (as long as there is nothing objectionable written on the tee shirts) should be fine.

I would wear collared shirts if I were you, like short sleeved polo shirts. Artist Point is the only restaurant I've seen at WDW where they've either given men collared shirts that they have there, or sent them back to their room to change.

If you don't want to wear a collared shirt to the park, you can bring one with you and change. Khaki shorts would be perfectly fine.

When we ate there in September, DH wore khaki pants and a collared shirt, and I wore a denim skirt and dressy blouse. However, we did see people in shorts and t-shirts while we were there. I think it may just depend on the host on duty that night. According to the Artist Point page on the Disney website, dress shorts are allowed as well as t-shirts, provided they have no offensive language or graphics. :thumbsup2

Dh would not wear a t-shirt to a signature restaurant (AP, Jiko, CG, Flyin Fish etc). I am not sure of the "official rules" but I would feel under dressed unless it was a nicer t-shirt and not a hanes type of shirt. That being said we do not get really done up either. I wear capris or a casual skirt with a decent bouse and DH wears shorts, boat shoes or flip flops and a polo. We have never felt under dessed or over dressed.

If we go to the parks we will usually head back to the resort for an hour or 2 before dinner. Wear or bring comfy shoes and go back to a park. You could also bring a change of clothes and rent a locker or just put a different shirt in your bag.

I just made reservations for this one and Yachtsmen and when I did, I was told by the cm: "no tank tops, swimwear, cutoff shorts or torn clothing". I think that was it.

I plan on wearing capri's and a casual shirt and dh will probably wear his nice shorts and a collared polo. We do plan on taking a resort break before both of these ADR's. Partly because I just like to do that before I eat at any TS place and partly because I just want it to feel special, seeing as how I am burning two credits apiece for these!

They do allow t-shirts at all of the signatures, including Artist Point, as long as they don't have anything offensive or threatening on them. You will see people dressed from very dressy to very casual. I'm not bothered by what others wear, I'm there for the food.

I don't have a picture, but we all wore jeans. I had on a 3/4 sleeve light sweater (it was chilly the night we went), my dds had on jeans and a long sleeve shirt, and my dh had on jeans and a collared short sleeve shirt. People were not really dressed up when we ate there because I remember thinking that some were way under dressed. I think we ate around 7pm.

Adorable picture!

This is from right here on the DIS

NOT PERMITTED: Tank tops, swim suits or swim cover ups, hats for gentlemen, cut offs or clothing with rips/tears are not allowed. T-shirts with offensive language/graphics will also not be permitted.

The Signature Restaurants are:

My son and I ate there just this past Thursday - Dinner with an Imagineer. GREAT! We came directly from AK so we were in Park attire. Shorts, short sleeves and sandals. Comfortable, clean and had allowed enough time to dry off from Kali. We didn't feel out of place, but there were others that were more dressed, collared shirt, etc. but still resort comfortable casual. Dress code was on a card at the sign in podium - same as posted here by previous posters.

Great food too, enjoy!

We ate there for my DH and DBIL birthday celebration on March 1st. We came right from the ESPN Weekend at the Studios. We all wore neat park attire and NFL shirts. They told the boys to remove their hats before entering the restaurant. We had a wonderful meal.
