Since I am a scrapbooker, I have the Cricut Expression. With the Mickey Font, I easily cut the fan programs for my DD's wedding. First, I typed what she wanted for both ears, then the middle. I cut 1 Mickey head out the size she wanted for the program. I put it under a piece of cardstock and centered it on 1 9x12 sheet to use as a master.
I got high quality cardstock from a friend who sells StampinUP!
I went to Kinkos and copied the program on the cardstock, (just fit on a 9x12- same size as the cardstock) on a copy machine. 70 programs copied, 70 copies with bride & groom names and wedding date in fancier font for the front.
Came home, ran each sheet through the Cricut. As they cut, I attached the 2 sides to a program fan (wooden- got these at Hobby Lobby, but are available on ebay, too) with a tape runner adhesive. Tied ribbon in wedding colors under Mickey's head. Voila! Took about 2-3 hours at home cutting and taping. Cost... LESS than $1.00 each!

Photos are on Randy's website- he took some cool shots with the programs on the sand at the beach, as well as some with folks using them at the wedding.
Check out chapmanphotography.com, go to my photos in the menu, put in Tricia and Jesse 10/22/09 to see the photos of the programs. Email me if you need any other directions. Heck, if you live near WI, I'll help you do them.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.
