Pics from Club 33 Visit

So nice! Club 33 is the last item on my bucket list I think...LOL..what a lovely experience

Wow, great pictures! I love all the merchandise, especially your bracelet! The lunch offering looks even better than dinner!

Just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your experience with us--we can live vicariously through yours!:goodvibes

My husband and I recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California--and it had similar looking food for our anniversary dinner. It was a night to remember for us.

Happy Anniversary to you both:love:

First, thanks to all for your kind words! We had a wonderful time and it was a great way to celebrate our Anniversary!

To answer some specific questions:
Looking for that special contact to arrange a lunch/dinner reservation at Club 33. I understand it's a long shot but I have to asks.

Unfortunately, the way we get our reservations is through a corporate connection. They have pretty strict rules about who can request reservations at Club 33. However, don't give up! We were married for years before we discovered our connection through hubby's brother. He has no idea what a big deal this is to Disney geeks. He has never taken his own family to Club 33. I know! So keep asking!

Dare I ask what the bill was? You know, I've always wondered why they don't list the price of the meals inside the menus. Unless you're rich, that's kind of an important concern. I'd rather not ask the waiter "How much is this? How much is that" for everything that looks good.

I'm speaking more in general than I am strictly about Club 33. But yeah... :dance3:

The charge for lunch is exactly what a one day-one park ticket costs. You do receive a parkhopper for free (for one day). And you must order at least that amount (no splitting or just getting drinks) or else the member will be billed the difference. The charge for lunch includes the cold buffet, entree, and dessert buffet. Our cocktails and coffee were extra, I think our hurricanes were $10.50 each and my cappuccino was 4.50 and hubby's coffee was 3.00. Hopefully that helps! It really is an amazing deal, because the cost of two one day-one park tickets (plus a little extra) got us two parkhoppers, an amazing meal, and what a view!

Wow! That's very cool to hear. So don't Club 33 memeber have basically unlimited (free) access to both parks whenever they want? Sorta like Premium AP holders, only they're Club 33 members and have access to that restaurant?

I still am kind of shocked they make them pay for the meal, since they're charging such an expensive yearly fee. I mean, with that yearly fee, you could probably buy the DLR/WDW-Super Premium AP ten times over. IMHO, I think it'd be the right thing to do if they gave you the meal free, and only started charging you if you went over certain limit.

The thing is, they can get away with charging for the meal. I mean, people are knocking down the door to get into the club, happy to pay thousands of dollars just to be able to make a reservation. Can you imagine the demand if people could eat for free? You would have people eating there all the time. :scared1:

From what I understand, the member does get admission to the parks, free valet parking at the Grand, access to the Lily Belle, VIP seating at WOC, as well as the privilege of paying for a meal at Club 33. ;) And the waiting list is so long, they have closed it. Craziness!

Thanks for the photo's, brings back many memories.

First thing, we are far from being money rich, family rich, YES. Since it costs a $72.00 minimum for the 4 of us, I think you can figure that out. We just budgeted the expense. There are more expensive places to eat in this world than Club 33, but at DLR, is by itself. We were very privledged to get the inivitation and it was an experience of a lifetime. I have been a Disney nut longer than most posters on this board have been alive....just remember, the Club 33 member is responsible for quests actions.

We went last night again and it was $76 min per person, and drinks don't count. We had a great time and the food was good. My table mate had salmon and he said it was just okay. I had my usual and wasn't disappointed. The drinks were great, though. I think what I like best is the service. I hadn't seen a favorite server there since before last summer and he recognized me immediately! How many people must he see there daily?

Oh, and to the person who bought the bracelet. I love mine but beware the silver color will turn after a few wears. It still looks good, just not as shiny.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. I'm still looking for that friend of a friend of another friend that will take me as a guest. Some day....

Yes... I think many of us are looking for those friends :worship: .

I was very excited on our last trip to DLR to take the "Walk in Walt's Footsteps" tour and be able to get inside the front door! Next thing to do is to actually be able to go upstairs and take part in the dining experience (and also shop :)).

Thank you for sharing the photos.

Thanks for sharing the pictures and Happy Anniversary. My wife and I celebrated our 10th on Feb. 10th.
