Picnic in the Park Question

After reviewing Picnic in the Park it stated that if you are on the Dining Plan you must use one adult entitlement per meal amount. How would a family with children also on the meal plan use their entitlements if only adult plans are accepted? Thanks in advance for your help!

1) When ordering, they have no idea how many kids or adults there are.
2) It is also hard to make different sized sandwiches and chickens.
3) Thus, all lunches sizes must use adult coupons per-person.

NOTE: I think this is fair. I also like the idea of the box lunch.

I would think it will work like any other CS option that doesn't have a kids menu. Yes, you're using adult entitlements, but it won't cause an imbalance between adult/child because CS credits aren't separated into adult/child in the system.

Thanks for the reply. So if I understand you correctly Picnic in the Park is not a viable option for a family with 2 adults and 2 children as only 2 adult entitlements are available, correct? Thanks again!

We won't know until someone tries it and reports back.

This does seem to be the curious point, as the PP noted that adult/child credits aren't separated, but then you have the fact of the KTTW card listing the adult/child entitlements, which normally restricts how many adult and child credits you can use at one time.

Then you factor in confusion over the whole "kids can get an 'adult' meal if there's no 'kid's' option" rule, and, well... no one really seems to know.

The picnic is only available for 3 or more? DH and I are going (solo? duo? without kids ) and I think that this would have been a good option for us.
