My DH and I are heading to Niagara-on-the-Lake in Canada tomorrow for the day. It's a small, quaint, almost Victorian area along Lake Erie. It's very picturesque and beautiful. I wanted to pack a picnic basket for lunch to take with us. I wanted it to be a romantic lunch. We are taking a romantic horse drawn carriage tour throughout the area before lunch. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what to pack or make? I already thought about cheeses, fruit, and wine. My DH would probably need something a little more substantial for lunch. It's suppose to be very hot so I'm worried about stuff spoiling despite being in a cooler. Thanks.
