Hello, Have some grandkids who are really picky eaters. At Magic Kindom table service restaurants that have grilled chicken strips on the menu would they substitute breaded strips or nuggets? Thanks

Do you have a specific restaurant in mind? Some can. If you tell us which one we may know.

Hello, We were looking at either the Plaza or Tony’s Town square. They were listing grilled chicken strips! Thanks for your willingness to try and help! Rick

I have a picky eater who won’t eat most kids foods like spaghetti, Mac and cheese or uncrustables. I had to search multiple menus on MDE in each park to find places that served fried chicken strips. I don’t know if those 2 places serve breaded strips and just wanted to say I understand where you’re coming from!

Oh I'm sorry, unfortunately I didn't try at either of those.

I will add, when we had restaurants we really wanted to go to, but our picky daughter won't eat there, we feed her first and then go and enjoy the meal we want while she eats a dessert there. She is so picky and I was struggling so hard with finding places she'd like... so we started getting her her foods, letting her eat, then going where we want to go. I know this won't work for all families, but if there's a "must do" place for you, this is an option.

If they have any other fried chicken option, it's possible. Say they have a breaded chicken sandwich or such. They try to do what they can but if they don't have the ingredients, they can't do it. I wouldn't count on it if it's not on the menu. It is possible to get them from a QS before you go to the TS and eat them at the TS.

most likely if they have them in kitchen but I would not plan on it
THIS^ The kitchens are pretty set with their supplies and if it isn't anywhere on the menu likely they will not. Like a PP said I suggest you feed them first so they are full, or bring in some from a QS with you, just order their drink ..... BUT both restaurants you are talking about are known for longer waits to be seated so they would get cold. I'd feed them first then bring in a snack they can nibble on if there isn't a side dish or dessert they might want at the TS. I for sure won't show up hoping and risk a child with nothing to eat.
