I'm helping a friend plan her Disney trip. I wanted to suggest a few table service restaurants BUT...they are kinda picky eaters. They eat "American" type foods like meat and potatoes. I thought Germany in Epcot or Whispering Canyon but they kinda shot those two down. I suggested a few other places like, Spoodles, Ohana, Crystal Palace but they didn't seem interested. I'm starting to run out of ideas. Geez, I thought I was picky. Any help out there?? :confused3
btw, older teen boys so characters are not really a priority here.

Coral Reef serves a very good steak dinner with no sauces or seasonings, and my very picky eater husband really enjoyed the food at Garden Grille. If they're gung-ho on staying safe, you know what might work for them is if they made their big meals breakfast buffets, since they are pretty standard breakfast fare across the board, and then doing CS for lunch and dinner. :confused3

How about Le Cellier in Canada at EPCOT? I've heard they serve excellent steaks.

You have suggested some great places!! WCC - fantastic!!

If your friend has already vetoed every suggestion so far...I wouldn't offer anymore ideas. It sounds like they are hard to please or maybe they don't want any suggestions (you didn't say if she asked). Besides, you'll feel bad when they come back having hated every place that they ate at (which could very well happen).

Have them check out the menus on allearsnet. They should be able to see where they'll like to eat.

I agree, don't bend over backwards if they're vetoing places without seeing the menu. I am a picky eater too though and I loved Le Cellier, 50's Prime Time, Beaches & Cream, WCC, etc. With boys that age, maybe suggest Sci-Fi Dine In.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I don't know why I hadn't thought of SciFi! Thats a good idea! :thumbsup2

Oh! I am a picky eater. But we have friends that by far have me beat! They are even picky about what type of potatoes they eat. And they like gool ol' America comfort foods too.
Here is where they like to eat:
Liberty Tree Tavern
Concourse Steak House
the buffet that is at Ft Wilderness
Cape May Clam Bake
Prime Time Cafe (although that can be iffy, depending on their mood)
Crystal Palace
