I was going to ask about the can or corn too... that would be a legendary lunch!

Oh well, in honor of Larry and his poll, I had a leftover bratwurst for lunch. And no, I, for some reason, could not eat it cold. Grilled it in my George Foreman and it plumped up quite nicely!

What about pickled herring? I know you could get it at Akershus at one point but it would great to eat it by the jar while waiting in a ride queue.

In wine sauce, sour cream, or matjes herring? I think I'd skip the sour cream variety, but the others could probably survive a bit.

The great thing about eating these on a hot Orlando summer's day, nothing quenches your thirst quite like a leftover jar of pickled wiener water.

I've heard that you only need to keep them cold if you are trying to get the bun pregnant.

both of these are tied for the funniest thing i have read on these boards in years....and i have been around a while. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

No, No, No! You definitely can't keep them in a cooler. I hear they shrink significantly when they're cold.

ETA: This has to be one of the funniest questions I've ever heard asked on The Dis. Who woulda' thunk...bringing your own pickled wieners into the parks. So funny!! :rotfl:

Pickled weiners aside ... No glass jars in the parks, please. :rolleyes1 And don't try to share them with others.

You guys are cracking me up! And helping me get through a loooooong Friday afternoon at work.

ZoZo, you must have missed the main lesson learned on DIS this week: sharing items is a good thing!:-)

If Larry shares his pickled wiener with a guest of his choosing, whether or not they want his pickled wiener, his vacation experience will be enriched.8-)

Ah, but that's what I was referring to!! I was going to say something about handing out "used" wieners but didn't want to go there. But now I have! Shame on me.

Thank you!! Now I know where to seek out the inspiration for the jokes going over my head. . . Must have missed some good stuff!

Line cutting, FP debates, stand/sit during parades, pixie dusting strangers, pickled wieners. . . All the DIS classics are discussed this week!

If Peter Pan picked a peck of pickled wieners, would people still be pressed to procure a Peter Pan FP+ pursuant to the premier hour of park opening?

I'm sitting in a quiet room with about 100 strangers and just burst out in hysterical laughter

Are they anything like this:

My Dad, bless his heart, used to eat these. Ick!
