Pickle part III

Hi Pickles...busy work day today, but trying to keep up here.

They just announced an early dismissal for my kids today, which is what I expected...this way they don't burn a snow day.

I want a snow day. Our DC office closed for a week when they got all that snow. Chicago has NEVER closed for a snow day. I think we are entitled to a day off just because they had so much time off.

I'm thinking of getting a massage this weekend. I don't really have the money for it, but with all the stress the last ten days, I coudl certainly use Edward's special touch.

Kat - these pics are for you! I didn't resize so sorry about the seizures.

Paris Retro hanging holder

Garden Lites hanging holder. Below that the stand with Mulberry pillar and GardenLites vase with strawberry rhubarb pillar. On the table you can see the church from Ye Olde World Village

Garden Lites trio and votive holders

You can't see very well, but there are two votive holders and the Clock tower from Ye Old World village and the five goblets (foget the name of the line)

And lastly, these are the boxes of my Christmas stuff. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Yeah, that is the one negative to working from home....no snow days and you have to be on your death bed to take a sick day.

A massage sounds HEAVENLY

Awesome pics, Tracy

Okay....now i'm going to go home and take pics of all my candle holders and post them (my boxes for Christmas are downstairs in the basement within boxes--I won't bore you with those :rotfl2:).

Okay...I'm really going to work now.

Oh boy, pictures of pickle homes!!! Soooo pretty!!! Love all the candles and holders. Hey, is that a wedding dress next to the boxes?

Wish I had a home to decorate - course, could post pics of my room. :rotfl:

Kath, ya know, that's the thing about living in Chicagoland - they don't believe in snow days for anything!

Heather, I worked from home for years - I did have plenty of pd holidays and vacation, long weekends, but never a snow day. Snow days are fun!

Mia works from home and has the same issue - work no matter what the weather. What I hate is when the summer lightening storms come - it's very dangerous, but she has to stay on line...and right in front of that window in the office!!

Oh! If anyone would like to share my St. Patrick's Day cuties, please help yourself!

Gotta check for my Mickey ones.

Yep, that's me..online in lightning, snow and rain storms.

I was jumping for joy when my phone went out for a bit in the last storm...made a little less work, but still had internet, so still had to work.

Absolute pits! Just not right.:sad2:

Hey, know what I had for breakfast this morning?? Huh, huh? Know you;ve been waiting to hear all morning. ::yes::

2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon and a Mocha Frappe (milkshake to non-Bostonians) with fresh blueberries mixed in - it was YUMMY!!

What, no 3 Musketeer? :lmao::lmao:

Yup, I expect Trac to pullin' up in the driveway this time tomorrow with a carload of Musketeers - she is only pretending to be home on line. :rolleyes1

HAHAHAHA. The only way you'll really know I am home is if you call me. And you know how much I love talking on the phone...:headache:

I must admit that you are the only friend I promise NOT to call!!! :rotfl: Still, every now and then I just cannot resist! :hippie:

Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't like talking on the phone, it's talking on it for long periods of time. I worked in the call centre industry for 10 years and the phone would make me cringe when it rang at home. When my MIL from Ottawa calls? OMG, forget about it. You are hooked, line, and sinker for a good hour or two. That woman can gab. She told Mark if she didn't have a long distance plan on her phone, her bill would have been almost $800 last month. HELLO?!?! How can a person talk that much... wouldn't ya run out of stuff to talk about? I don't get it.

My youngest son has so many rollover minutes it is ridiulous. He HATES talking on the phone...it is like pulling teeth to get him to call me once or twice a week for two minutes. It's either text message or FB with that kid of mine.

I think that's a guy thing though. My step son hates talking on the phone too and so does Mark, actually. I have to keep on him to call his mom so she doesn't feel like he's avoiding her. lol I don't mind talking if there is something to talk about and I'm not busy. I'm an odd duck, I know. Quack quack!

Texting and FB seems to be the norm today as well. It's so impersonal though.

When I've chatted with Tracy we do a lot of giggling. ::yes::

Not sure if I know any guys who love to talk on the phone....well, one old boyfriend could talk all night - really all night! Exhausting, but sweet.

This is me!!!

Being that I am on the East coast, but covering the west, I am on the phone most of my work day. The last thing I want to do AFTER work is talk on the phone. It is good to catch up with a good friend every once in a while, but I'm never gonna be one to chat all night long

I had cheese puffs and chocolate for Bfast.

I'm trying to think what I had for breakfast. Oh yes, a Mars bar and coffee. For a snack, I had some licorice. I am about to make a strawberry smoothie but scared I'm going to freeze to death! Oye

Not sure what's for supper. Chips?
