In over 20 visits, I have never received any type of pin code. :confused3

Are you signed up through Disney Destinations? I receive pin codes from them about every 4-6 months. Wish I had the time and money to take advantage of them!

CSR the whole ten days. King room and QSDP. Anniversary celebration with request for reno'd room in Casitas section.

Oh YA!!!! :yay:

You are gonna like it, I'm sure! I'm just glad it is said and done at this point. Now you can quit stressing over the planning and get excited! :yay:

(With our luck, we'll be in Ranchos. Mark my words!!)

HEY! I resent that remark! Ranchos is our favorite section. And don't tell Kathy, but I have never even walked over to the Casitas.

I tell you what, this thread moves fast! Get busy one day, and come back to resort changes like crazy! :sad2:

Got the kids off to school this morning. Avery was doing the obligatory pouting, but I think she was excited. Poor Tucker was having a rough time. He is off to middle school. He doesn't like change of any kind, and his nerves were shot. Poor kid looked like he was about to throw up. I drove him to school this morning, and he says "Mom... I'm scared." I hope he has a good day.

Okay. I am VERY, VERY :confused3.

I thought you were switching to POR. Now, I know I had too much sun yesterday and am as red as a lobster and very tired from being outside for two days in the fresh air (something I'm not used to with all the rain we've had), but I know it was mentioned that Mark was looking at pictures of POR and you wanted to be in mansions????

Someone shoot me...and I swear I was NOT skimming.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to confuse you. We were considering it, yes. It looks absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to go see it when we get there. CSR was my first choice and after much chat back and forth with Mark, we decided to leave well enough alone. I should have left it alone from the beginning. Hindsight and all that...

Mornin’ all
Tracy, you should know that I thought about you on the way into work – just so happy for you that your trip is settled and that that you leave in just a few days!!:woohoo:

Are you still doing some ADRs now that you took the quick service plan? I’m like you, when it’s hot, I don’t eat as much (that is definitely a good thing with me!):goodvibes. Just wondering what your "final" ADR list is.

We also had severe thunderstorms last night during your “pickle” problem so I uplugged my laptop. Anyway, hope the headaches are gone, now that the stress of where you are staying of over.

Janet

What's not to get? Tracy changed her mind again! :rotfl: CSR and DDP for the whole stay.

No; I deal with *****************s

I SAW THAT, KARI!

Kari, I hope Tucker has a good day. I'm sure he'll be fine when he sees his other friends there.

See...I'm not cracking up. Well, maybe just a little. I know I had read POR in there somewhere.

Kari, Hope Tucker comes home all excited about his day.:) I don't have to deal with middle school for another 2 years - in our area elementary school is K-6, middle is 7-9. I will be the wreck when Samantha goes to middle school, she definitely a "young" soon to be sixth grader, not just in age, but in her thinking.

I'm having trouble keeping up, too. I saw Janet's post about QSDP and had to go back and re-read! I don't know if I could do QSDP for my whole stay or not. I love to go to the restaurants. But I am too cheap to go to more than 1 or 2 if I am paying OOP! I would also have trouble justifying spending the money if I had CS credits. But with Tucker being an adult next trip, we will be using QSDP or OOP for sure.

Isn't it amazing how different parts of the country the school systems are so different. When my boys first started out, they had a 1/2 day of kindergarten and then elementary school was 1-6th grade; middle school 7-8th grade and then high school 9-12th grade. Now, since my boys are done and in college, it is full day of kindergarten, elembentary 1st-5th grade middle school 6-8th grade and then high school.

I'm sorry if I offend you. Ranchos just isn't our style at all.

Right, it's back to school this week for your little ones. I still find that so strange, yet brilliant. Bless his little heart. He will have so much fun today! I'm sure he got extra hugs from mommy this morning. :lovestruc

That is Tucker, too. He just turned 11 7 weeks ago, so he is young for 6th grade to begin with. He is also very immature for his age. Middle school in our area is 6th-8th grade.

Goodness, on your way to work you thought of me?! You are such a sweetheart. I wish I could give you a big ol hug!

We are still going to do some ADRs - absolutely! I think five or six will hit the spot. I have not finalized which ones though. Now that I've eliminated the Poly stay, that has changed my park day/dining plans so I've entered a whole new pickle realm, but it won't take long to resolve. ;)

Ya'll and your thunder storms! :scared1: I guess they are a part of the humid summer. I don't like em though!

Hope you have a great day!

You shouldn't need to change too much. Transportation around WDW really is easy to work around. You can get to MK in about 20 min from CSR, and that includes wait time for the bus and riding time. Then just hop the monorail or water launch to Poly for your ressies. From any park, you can just take the bus to whatever your ADR resort is. We usually give ourselves 45 min to get from CSR to another resort for an ADR, including going to a park and catching another bus. We generally arrive about 5 min early for our ADR. The couple times we were late, they still seated us no problem (and we were 25 minutes late to 1900 Park Fare at GF for breakfast. No, the path does not go all the way around Bay Lake to the GF... it ends about 300 yards before you get there!)

Yep, you did! Not cracking up. I can't wait to see it in person.

Now I'm looking for Pepper Market meal suggestions... popcorn:: Got any folks?

:rotfl: He did... but I had to do it a block away from the school! A 6th grader just can't be seen giving his mommy hugs and kisses in the carpool lane! :confused3

Come on now, mom...he's in middle school now! No kissing allowed.

This is one of the things about my two boys that is so different. My oldest (23 years) will kiss me anytime, anywhere, in front of anybody, etc. My youngest (21 years old) will barely kiss me at home...and DEFINITELY not in public (except when he qualified for the State Championship in wrestling because he saw me crying).

Hey, Samantha just turned 11 on June 5th! Probably their birthdays are right near each other!

I'd much rather think about you guys than work, and I am REALLY happy you have resolved your hotel pickle ... I'll consider myself hugged!:)

Yes, I'm happy that our school district keeps the 6th grade in the elementary school - another year for the less mature kids to grow up. In our middle school, 7 & 8 are together, the 9th graders do their own thing. The only reason the 9th grade is in the middle school is because they can't fit in the high school. We only have one high school for this large school district - there's approx. 3200 kids in 10-12th grade!! Unbelievable!

I need to change about half of them, actually. I had all my ressies booked for the Poly stay and nothing booked for the CSR stay. I want to spread them out now that we are there the entire 9 days instead of going "commando" for the last five days because we had monorail access. Now we can do something every other day. ::yes::

OMG, you had to turn around and walk back! That's funny, er, awful. I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time though. :rolleyes1

My son (he's 17) still tell me he loves me, and will give me hugs and kisses from time to time (especially when I've had a hard day):) Samantha my little cutie, always does:)

Morning Heather! :surfweb: I've been reading a LOT about all the problems that people are having booking ressies lately. It is frustrating. I will cross my fingers for you! I am pleased with the ones that I got. I just hope we are hungry in that heat. We hardly ate when we were there for our honeymoon.

I would honestly be happy with Casitas or Cabanas. I love both themes very much.

Hope you had a great weekend. :yay:
I'll need your ADR mojo when I go to make mine in Sept...I'm getting online at 6am!! I already prepared Brian, that we may not get everything he wants. We'll see how that works out.:rolleyes1
I think Cabanas look really cool, followed by Casitas...I like the more tropical feels of those. We actually may do CSR for our next trip. Brian is in love with the WL...I love it too, but like to try new resorts.

This Pin code that I got back in May was the first that I have EVER gotten, and I have been signed up under both of my emails as well as Brian's for years. The funniest thing is that we were already booked when I got it, so it didn't entice me to book, I just saved $$ on an existing ressie.

:grouphug: to Avery. I'm sure starting Middle school is a scary thing! I'm so glad that Martina got AM kindergarten...It will be so much easier for her to get on the bus in the morning with Chris, knowing that he will be able to show her how to get to her classroom.

I've never been there, but I have read that the Steak is the best deal on the DDP! I think it's about $19, but covered as a CS meal. Our resident CSR expertws will be better at telling you what to try than I am though!

May 22nd.

OMG, you had to turn around and walk back! That's funny, er, awful. I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time though. :rolleyes1

It was horrid! It was about 90 degrees and high humidity (duh! Florida in June!) and we were speed walking to try to get there. Wynn and I were both pissed off and barely speaking by the time we got back to the monorail station. Luckily, we walked in and they said they could still seat us. Amazing how a little AC and a nice CM can change your whole attitude! :upsidedow

The only other thing we have been late for was HDDR. We didn't get home from MK in time to change and use the buses to get to FW, so decided to drive ourselves. (First trip to WDW as adults for either of us.) The CM at CSR gave us directions to WL instead of FW, so we ended up WAY out of the way. Finally got to FW, and couldn't figure out which bus would get us to the right place... turned out all of them did, but we didn't know that until the 3rd bus. We were supposed to be there 15 minutes early, but ended up being almost 30 minutes late. :sad2: But they had our seat waiting for us right up near the stage, and we got there just before they started serving... so all was good!
