Just ordered 2 x 7-day park hopper passes from the WDW website for our September trip to Disney World. We are staying at the Dolphin Hotel. I assumed tickets would be posted but apparently we need to pick them up from a ticket booth at any theme park entrance at Disney World.

We were hoping to go to Epcot the day we arrive at about 6pm, but as we are staying at the Dolphin that would mean walking to the International Gateway entrance to the World Showcase. Does anybody know if there is a ticket booth at this entrance where we can collect our tickets?

The alternative would be getting a taxi to the front entrance of EPCOT which may leave us short on time, and obviously is a bit inconvenient!! If anyone can confirm my hopes that would be great!

Or.... is it possible to pick up tickets from your hotel? Thanks!

i'm pretty sure there is a guest services window at the international gateway.
i assume you'll be able to pick up your tickets there.

you could post this question on the theme parks board - there are some major ticket experts on that board who will certainly know the answer.

Yes there is a guest relations there or you could call in one of the Disney hotels on your way, doubt you can get them at the Dolphin as its not a Disney hotel but I have never been in to know.

thanks all. If there's a guest relations window there I think I'll be ok... it should be open until the park closes, shouldn't it?

I never knew you could get them with the print off sheets at the hotels. Even better, always prefered printing the voucher rather than posted tickets, more secure and no risk of them not turning up.

There are both ticket windows and guest relations at the IG. ticket window may or may not be open but guest relations will be and is usually quiet. :thumbsup2

Can anyone confirm that you can collect your tickets with a voucher at any Disney hotel?
It would be useful if we didn't have to check in at Pop and then head over to a park or Downtown to get them.

If you are staying in a Disney hotel they should go on your Key to the world card at check in. If you bought your tickets & hotel together this is automatic, if you bought them seperate you can ask for them to be added.

I bought my tickets separately from Disney UK last year and we had a print off with a barcode on. We were staying at the Pop and on arrival they wouldn't (or couldn't?) put the tickets on to our KTTW cards (something about the numbers in the barcode). Very inconvenient, but I thought i'll get them done instead at the MK ticket booth the next morning.

What a nightmare! for some reason - which escapes me now over a year later! - the ticket booth man at MK said I would have to go back to DTD and get them issued from there :faint: I wasn't pleased; it was our first day, our friends and family were waiting for us so that we could go in to MK together, the opening ceremony was already underway (I missed it all). After me practically breaking down in tears he issued us with one day tickets and we eventually got into MK, but it was a horrid start to our holiday. That evening I went to DTD but they didn't put the tickets on our KTTW they gave us the card ones, but at that point I was just glad to have any kind of ticket!

NB: our friends who booked with VH had no problem exchanging their ticket voucher at the Pop, which made us wonder why ours couldn't have too :confused3

Thanks for all the info, folks!
I think we'll try to get our tickets added to our KTTWs when we check in.
If they can't do it there, then our next stop is DTD anyway so we will collect them there.
I'll let you know how we get on...
