I have 2 reservations booked next week. First is just a 1 day room only then the next day my 7 day park with dining package starts. I know in past you were able to get park passes up to 3 days early. Has anyone got their tickets early recently? Can my resort (Pop) give tickets early? If I am able to get tickets early, I will also need to add another park day. When and where would be the best place to do this?? Any advice is appreciated. I have 2 small kids so I am trying to figure out most convenient way to get this done. Thanks!

I have the same situation. I have a 1 day reservation for Nov 8 with a 1 day ticket. Then Nov 9-15 I have another day reservation which also has dining plan. We got 2 sets of magic bands. I don't know which was for the 1 day and which for the 7 day. How will it work with one reservation (the one day) not having dining and the other (seven day) having dining. I'm confused. Also not sure how I go about changing rooms since checkout for first room is 11 but check in for 2nd room is 3. We are staying at BC for both but the rooms are different

Those of you with the split stay, when you made FP+ reservations were you able to make for your first day too that didn't have ticket for park attached or just the 2nd stay?

1. I know in past you were able to get park passes up to 3 days early.

2. Has anyone got their tickets early recently?

3. Can my resort (Pop) give tickets early?

4. If I am able to get tickets early, I will also need to add another park day. When and where would be the best place to do this??

1. Yes.

2. Yes. This question is asked and answered on this board 2-4 times per week.
Nothing has changed.

3. Applies to any WDW resort.

4. If you are staying at the SAME resort for both reservations, you can try to get the tickets
issued early at the resort Concierge Desk.

If the CM there doesn't know how to do it (or if your stays are at different WDW resorts)
go to any Guest Relations outside any theme park, or at TTC, or at either location at DTD to pick up
the tickets up to 3 days before check-in for the package.

(You can upgrade and get the extra day(s) on the tickets at the same location, at the same time.)

Have ticket for first day but no dining. Also first day ticket is 1 day that doesn't include MK. 2nd ticket has dining plan. We split the reservation because our first day was a day before the free dining offer.

When I did FP+ it let me make for the entire reservation 60 day from the 1sy day ticket.

ALL MagicBands issued to an individual will work for the entire trip.
You can choose to use either of your MB for any day of the trip.

Disney will handle the changing of the rooms.
They do this all the time.
You can be present for the room change, or Resort Bell Services will handle
moving your bags and belongings. (You need to pack everything, ready for transfer, if you are not going to present for the move.)

You can ONLY make advanced FP+ if you already have a ticket for each day that you want advanced FP+.
(You are free to choose for WHICH day(s) of the trip you'd like to make the FP+.)

If you have a one-day ticket, you can only make advanced FP+ for one day.
If you have a two-day ticket, you can only make advanced FP+ for two days.
If you have a three-day ticket, you can only make advanced FP+ for three days.
If you have a four-day ticket, you can only make advanced FP+ for four days.
etc.

If you upgrade your ticket after you arrive, you can THEN make advanced FP+ for the added day(s) as soon as you add the extra day(s) to the ticket.

If I have 4 day park tickets but they are linked to day 2 of my trip bc day 1 is just room only then will I be able to choose FP+ for day 1? I understand what you replied that I can choose for 4 days but I was just wondering if it would allow me to choose for the day before or that would be blocked out?

You will be able to make advance FP+ for any days, if you have park tickets pre-purchased.
(One of those days CAN BE your first day.)

As to WHEN you can make the FP+ reservations...
You can log in make 4 days worth of FP+ on the date that Disney tells you
is your FP+ reservation date. (That time can be as early as 12 midnight Eastern Time,)

You can see that date in your MyDisneyExperience account (as well as they send you advance notice of this date in the mail.)

Thanks so much for all the responses!! I am so excited. However I was unable to make fp for the first day. It would only allow me to start when my 2nd reservation begins. Am I doing something wrong?

You should be able to make advance FP+ reservations for your first day (first resort stay) ON the day that you can make the advance FP+ reservations for your second resort stay, because that second reservation is the one with the tickets attached to it.

Hi there. We are in the same, very frustrating boat. I can't make FP+ for my arrival day either. We also have a room only followed by a package. I have 9 day tix but can only book FP+ from day 2 forward, because the system thinks I don't arrive until day 2. So now I only have 8 days worth of FP+ scheduled.
My 2 ressies are linked to 2 diff MDE accts. I did that so I could use the 1st set of MB for extra SDFP+ in the parks. If your 2 ressies are linked to the same MDE acct, then I believe you would be able to make FP+ for your 1st day. If I could unlink my room moly stay from the extra MDE and link it to my main MDE/package ressie I would. It would mean giving up the extra SDFP+ but I think I would rather have arrival night FP+. Oh well.

A. The system knows that you arrive on the first day, but only on your "other account."
And, that "other account" does not have any tickets associated with it.

B. Yup.

I know, but I wish I knew that before I linked the room only to a diff acct. Oh well, at least we will have extra SDFP+.

Well... that may or may not be the case by the time you arrive.
