Picking up the GAC.

My DD has used a GAC when we have visited WDW in the past. We have always gotten one at the MK. Not sure we will be going to MK first on our next trip. Where do you pick them up at DS, AK or Epcot??

I get mine at the outside guest services of the MK, but have also gotten them inside at guest services at Hollywood Studios, Epcot and AK. Just go to the guest services building.

I know HS has guest services on the side to the left of enterance on the outside. Epcot has guest services on the outside by the where you come in from the resort busses. AK, I believe is on the inside only??

Epcot also has one inside. On the left, after you walk around SE.

I'm pretty sure all the parks have Guest Services both inside and outside the ticket turnstiles. We usually go to the park to get our GAC the night we arrive, before hitting a park the next day. You don't need to wait until you are in a theme park.

You are correct.
There is a Guest Services inside and outside of each park.
You will still need to go thru bag check if you use Guest Services outside the park. All of the 'outside' Guest Services (GS) Stations are after bag check.

MK's outside GS is to the right, as you face the park. There is a blue 'i' on the map that shows where it is. The one inside the park is to the left, in City Hall, as you enter the park.

Epcot's outside GS is to the right, as you face the park, sort of under the monorail track. The inside the park one is to the left, beyond Spaceship Earth. Again, marked with a blue 'i' on the park map.

The Studios kind of looks like it doesn't have GS outside. It's actually the other side of the same building as GS outside. It is on the left, as you face the park entrance.

AK has the same arrangement as the Studio - one side of the same building is the outside the park GS. The other side of the building inside the park is GS.

The other thing to be aware of is that the GS stations inside the park are inside a building and you directly face the CM. The one outside the park are windows where you are standing outside and talk to the CM thru the window.

Adding to Sue's list, the Ticket Booth outside the Intternational Gateway at Epcot is actually staffed by Guest Relations staff and not the regular ticket people, so it does double as a Guest Relations Office.

Last time we were at the IG, the Guest Services booth was to the left of the ticket booth, as you approach from the BC area. I didn't realize it and waited in the wrong line, then had to wait in the correct one.

The ticket booth is not always staffed by Guest Services people. From what the people at that booth have told me, the Guest Relations staff will be wearing plaid vests. If you see someone in the booth in a plaid vest, they can help you.

There is, but they do not do anything with GACs.
GACs can only be requested at a park Guest Services Location (either inside or just inside the park).
