Picking up park tickets early for Cindy's Royal Table

I think I might have just "royally" messed up. I had a perfect ADR for Cinderella's Royal Castle. I changed it to a day of our trip when we are on a room-only ressie, thinking I could pick up park tickets a day early. On another thread I have been reading this might not be possible. Of course now the restaurant is full for the duration of our trip. Anyone have any brilliant ideas about how this might be resolved? My daughter will be so disappointed if we don't get to see the "real" princesses.

You will most likely have to purchase tickets for MK...when are you going? and how many are there at your table?

We're going November 25, ADR at Cindy's on the 26th, package starts on the 27th. Grrr... There are 3 of us going to the breakfast. Sure hate to buy another day of a ticket - already paying for 10!

Does it have to be breakfast at the castle?

There is also Akerhaus in Epcot that has a lovely princess breakfast and it is much easier to get a reservation there than at the castle. If you really want to eat in the palace then I would recommend you subscribe to the November & December cancellation threads and check around the 45 +10 day mark. So if you are looking for Nov 27th and onwards then start checking reservations daily for cancellations starting Oct 13th plus 10 = Oct 3rd.

How long will you be at the World?

Good luck, I hope that you can figure it out. I hope a ressie might pop up during your park days! What about dinner at Grand Floridan with Cinderella?

Okay I just checked they have 2 dinner slots open on the 26th of november.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it. While rumours have been going around about early ticket pickup ending, reliable people have reported that it is still allowed and there's been nothing official from Disney about it ending anytime soon.

This exactly! Don't listen to rumors. Listen to people who are doing it. The actual ticket CM on the boards says you can and people are reporting that they are doing it currently. Disney has yet to issue a statement changing this policy. Don't stress! Enjoy your breakfast!

I would continue to try to get it changed but as others have said, try not to stress because at this point, everything about it changing is a rumor.

I would definitely have a back up plan in case you get there and cant get your tickets early and have not been able to change the reservation, but until there is an official confirmation that they are enforcing no early ticket pick up, then there is really no reason to worry to much.

Until it's official from Disney, you can absolutely do that. Last year we had the EXACT same situation as you. We had a room-only night and our package started the next day. We had a reservation at CRT the night before our package and we were able to pick up our tickets early to get in. Unless Disney bans early ticket pickup before you arrive, you're fine.

call reservations and see what can possibly be done other wise will need to buy a park ticket for that day to eat at he castlel. another place is 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian resort and would not need a ticket to a park:worship:

Wow! Thank you all so much for your helpful replies. The stars were all lined up for me today, and I got the situation worked out. Don't know how I've missed it all this time, but I was able to take advantage of FD beginning on 11/26 instead of my original day of 11/27. So I was able to switch one of my room only days to a FD package day! So now I don't even need to worry about whether I can get my tickets early!

By the way, while the CM was changing my reservation, he asked (unsolicited) if I realized I had a 9 day hopper, and that my package was only for 7 nights. I said yes, and he said, "Because, you know, you can't get those park tickets until the day your package starts?" I'm so confused... Anyway, I just responded, "That's why I know you're going to find me a room at POR on the 26th to go with the rest of my package :thumbsup2!"

Thanks again, everyone!
