picking up my dress - anything I should know?

Hi all ... I figured I'd post my question here thinking I'm sure you ladies have a lot of words of wisdom.

I am picking my dress up today from the shop I ordered it at. They will not be doing any of the alterations - I've very luck that my DH2B's great-aunt is a seamstress.

Is there anything I should check, do, etc. before I leave with my dress?

Try it on - make sure not only does it fits like it did when you bought it (alterations aside - basically make sure it's the right size that you ordered), look for any flaws, a zipper, buttons, etc. that may not be working correctly, any stains or problems with the fabric..... general things like that. Have fun picking up your dress!!
