Picking up "Hoop" tickets from Dolphin?

Can you pick up the Hoop-De-Doo tickets from the Dolpin Guest Services? Disney Dining said they didn't know if I could or not. Anyone have this happen to them??

You should be able to. There is (or was anyway) a Guest Services desk at the Swan and the Dolphin that was/is actually staffed by the Yacht and Beach Club guest services cast members. So it is a "Disney CM" not a Dolphin CM.

Hi...

No, you cannot pick up tickets at the Dolphin. We were just there in September and had to pick up Luau tickets. We checked with Guest Services at the Dolphin and they said the tickets had to be picked up at a <i>Disney</i> resort. We ended up just getting them at the BC when we walked over to Beaches and Cream one day.

I didn't know that there are tickets to pick-up for Hoop-De-doo. I made our reservations about 2 weeks ago and the CM never mentioned this.

I have never done a Dinner Show before...I just assumed it was treated like Priority Seatings and you give the PS number when you check in.

What do I have to do to get the tickets?? What if someone does not know about this and they show up at the show ticket-less?

The Dining rep said you can pick up your Hoop tickets up to 7 days in advance at a Disney Resort Guest Services Desk. They think it will work at the Dolphin but from what I have read, it won't. Hope this helps!

Also wanted to note that their is a difference between guest services at the resorts and guest relations at the parks. You can't pick up tickets at Guest Relations in the park only guest services at the resorts. If you showed up at the Luau or Hoop they would just send you to Guest Services. This is when your card is actually charged. We picked up our Luau tickets at 7PM for the 8PM show from the Poly guest services desk. There is no need to pick them up early unless it gives you peace of mind. It personally gave me peace of mind not to have to hold on to additional paper or tickets by picking them up just prior to the show. There was no line at the Poly Guest Services.

You can also wait and pick the tickets up at the show directly, the seats are pre-assigned so it is not like you would miss out if you waited to pick up the tickets. We went to Hoop last night and picked our tickets up when we arrived. The Hoop ticket window is right next to Pioneer Hall. We got there around 8:45 for the 9:30 Hoop and had no problems. They charged our card and gave us the tickets. Then you have to make sure you check-in with the CM that has the clipboard (who is usually in front of Pioneer hall)...

We pick up our tickets up at the ticket booth at Hoop De Doo. It does seem easier than getting them before hand.
