What is the main difference with the Wishes or Illuminations cruises? Other than which show you are seeing.. lol..
I heard that the Wishes cruises pipe in the music from the show, is that true, and does Illuminations do the same?
Is there a difference in the boats used? If so, which is more romantic?
Can you bring your own picnic basket/wine?
Anything else I should know? princess:

Also, looking to share a cruise during 2nd week of Nov., just my DH and me, if anyone has a little space on their boat :rotfl:

ahhhww, help a girl out.. it's been over a week and over 60 views to this thread.. certainly somebody out there has been on these cruises, you people know everything disney!!! :confused3

The Illuminations cruises don't pipe in the music because they don't have to. They dock right under the bridge between the UK & France and therefore you can hear everything without having the music piped in.

thank you!!! :worship: well, that answers one question.. anyone know if we can take a picnic basket? I read somewhere that you could order food to be waiting.. but if I want to take my own? thanks!! :rotfl:

Hi Babybaja2,
Wishes Cruise is more romantic as compared to Illuminations cruises. In that lots of music shows are happening, you will really enjoy that.

does anyone know where the thread are to "share" cruises?

I'd go for the Illuminations cruise. I took it in Dec and LOVED it. We docked under the bridge connecting the UK to France. Great view and being right there on the water with everything was fabulous. If you have a small group, book the Breathless:

(sorry, had trouble getting a good shot of her that night)

She only seats up to six. The pontoon boats will seat more but I loved being on the Breathless... especially when the driver kicked her up to speed over by the Hollywood Studios during our ride before we had to be over in EPCOT to dock for Illuminations.

still looking for 3 more people to join us on Nov. 15 for Illuminations cruise :woohoo:
so far we have 6 adults and one very well behaved young man :thumbsup2
