Picked up a new WDW guide book..

I saw all of the hits to my web site and the orders, so I came to visit for a while. Reggie, I'm so glad that you like the maps. Having found plenty of fellow obsessive planners on this site, I always like to share a new book. Love the look of the website, the sample pages on the home page are a great way to 'flick though' to see if this books for you. I bought this sight unseen from amazon, and I am so glad I did. I'm curious about whether you were able to access the "Look Inside the Book" on Amazon. They don't have the 2007 edition pages online yet, and I was so disappointed with how the 2006 pages looked. Thanks for giving it a try!

It is hard work, but it's also fun and very rewarding!

Ok couldn't pass this up I love the books with pictures and the detailed maps looks great cant wait to get it. I paid for the Fedex shipping so it should come by early next week!!

I did the same thing at amazon with UG and Passporter. They combine them for the free shipping. What I did was go back into my order at Amazon and seperate the books and paid for the shipping. I got my UG in about 2 days, and the passporter will ship in Dec. Hope this helps.

I just bought it through Anne's website and got it in electronic format for just $7.50. It's printing out now! While it won't be in a cute spiral binding like the hard copy, I'm happy to have it now and I can just put it in a binder. While I already have UG and spend way too much time here and on TGM, I'm still excited to have something different to look at!

amazon.com ... I was just buying my 2007 unofficial guide, when I came across this also. I am always checking for new books!!

If you have the 2006 unofficial guide don't buy the 2007! Mine arrived a couple days ago and I started realizing it was almost identical. I matched the two books up side by side and 99.9% was the same, word for word. Same goes for the official which came today!

UGH! I realized I hadn't been getting thread updates from this one so I missed info. I tried to order the book throgh Borders because they said they could get it (I didn't know about the author's site ordering until now. DUH-O! ) and they said that they cancelled my order becuase they couldn't reach the publisher. EEK! Go kick you publishers heiney! I used to work in publishing so I know. They obviously dind't market it as well as they should have because this board ALONE would give them huge sales! I'm going to order mine now from you!

As a newbie to WDW adventures I have to say that I really like this guide book! It seems to have the parks organized really well and isn't as cumbersome as the "Unofficial Guide" ---but I'll take them both with me!!

Lordy! Well you know how it is! Someone being paid minimum wage didn't want to be followed with follow up on something. SIGH That's why I came back to the thread looking for you because I remembered you posting last I heard. And I'm a book NUT when it comes to my WDW! Next best thing to being there. So I'd rather order from YOU directly ANYWAY! NEENER at Borders! And I just happened to have $ on my PP account too so it couldn't have been easier! Wow -- I ordered way back while I was on page 1 of the thread and then I see the author is a DIS Board Member!!! And is talking to us mere mortals!

Anyway ... I can't wait til the book comes ... may not be in time for my November trip but I will use it for next years trip.

I really liked being able to use PAY PAL and FREE SHIPPING!

OMG.. I just got mine in the mail yesterday... I LOVE it!! I mean I REALLY love this book!!! I love the Souvenirs and Shopping section. And all the worksheets. I just know I was drooling when I was looking at all the wonderful worksheets last night. I also really like the maps and all the color pictures! And the sample prices for different things. And spiral binding. I could really go on and on about this book. This is the new book that I will always recommend to people who are going (and even if they're only thinking of going!)

The only problem I have is that I just now realized that I could have bought it directly from the author. Well, I already know for sure that I will be getting the next edition, so I will definately get that one directly from Ann!!

You should get it within a few minutes. Sometimes the email notice gets mis-marked as junk mail, so check your junk mail folder. I'm sending a PM to get more details and make sure that everything is working properly.

I am a uk member and was unable to get this book on Amazon so was really pleased that you could get it as an e-book, which i did and i want to say this is just excellent. I always buy many disney guides but this one tops them all, really love the maps best ones around.

Also i got my e-book e-mail within 2 minutes of payment through paypal and took only about 1 minute to download, may take me a while to print out but who cares cost me less than the actual book.

My apologies for not replying sooner. Anne shipped the book so fast my head spun!! And it's fantastic! Give you things other books just don't have and my favorite are the maps that break down what shops are where and what they have there in summary. LOVE that! I'm still going through it I only get a few moments a day but any time I'm going somehwre I know I'll be waiting, I bring it along! I recommend it!
