Picked as Family of the Day at Universal!!!!

So ----we were standing in line waiting to get in (park not open yet) and I asked the CM (or whatever you call them at Universal) when the Mummy ride is going to be open....a few minutes later she asks me if we (my DS and I) would like to be the family of the week? Sounds good to me, even not knowing what it means! We get escorted in (before opening) and have our picture taken on the main drag...(we later pick up the picture free of charge from guest services) and head to Jimmy Neutron for a ride before the park opens! Afterwards the wonderful CM lets us pick out LOTs of free merchandise (about $200 worth) in the gift shop and gives us 5 FOTL passes for the rest of the day! She was wonderful - what a great memory! WE LOVE UNIVERSAL!!!! Moral of the story: Maybe it pays to ask a question??
