I have to pick up my niece at the airport tonight, late in the evening. We are watching Fantasmic at 9 pm, then I hoping to get a ride share Lyft/uber or a cab from Hollywood Studios to the airport (MCO).

How long does it take to get from Fantasmic to the exit? When should I request the ride, right at show's end or when I get to exit?

Where is ride share/cab pick up?

Thanks her plane doesn't arrive until 1130, but she's 13 and on her 1st plane ride alone, so I'm planning on getting a gate pass to meet her at gate.

I don't think you'll get there in time. Fantasmic will be over at 9:30pm, but it's going to take awhile to get out of the theater (there will be a TON of people). Then the ride share pickup is at the very end of the bus loop, so it's a long walk. I wouldn't plan on getting to the ride share area until 10pm, best case scenario. Then with the extra traffic at the end of the night, it's going to take awhile for the driver to get to you and get OUT of the parking lot. Then 30-40 minutes to get to the airport. THEN you'll have to wait at the airline's counter to get your gate pass, which could take quite some time. THEN you'll have to wait for and take the shuttle to the gates.

I think you’d be pushing it. MCO gets very busy at night, right around that time. Took me an hour and a half just to drop my bag the other night at the Frontier counter; I arrived around 8pm. Traffic was crazy getting to terminal A.

Thanks guys. I'm glad I asked. We will just have to skip this trip.
If you still want to "see" Fantasmic, I'd get to MCO early, jump on their WiFi, fire up TikTok live, and locate one of the many Disney streamers broadcasting live from the park. It won't be the same as being at the show, but it's something and what I often do when I want to see it.

I've seen it at Disneyland, but never at WDW, last time I was there was in 2021, and I think the theater was bring refurb, plus a lot of show weren't back post reopening yet.

Weather is looking iffy tonight anyway
