pick resort help, please

We have 2 days before Disney's Wonder cruise our own land / sea. When we come back are doing Polynesian. Wanted to try something different. Not sure if want to do AKL or CSR for the quick 2 days. We have not tried either one, yet. We have worried about the CSR being so spread out & location. Also AKL don't like the resturants (not adventurous eaters) & location. BUT for 2 days might be the time to try it out and see if we are missing something? We have "visited" them both and scouted the territory already.

Help, convince me on your favorite resort. We have almost stayed everywhere. { No, not interested in values. We do use the amneities of the resorts, have AP will travel. } [nothing wrong with them, just not for us, I know my limitations].

Since no one responded yet, I'll give you my opinion. We have stayed at both, and while I like CSR, I LOVE AKL!!! CSR was a little too spread out for me, but AKL, while large, is all contained in 1 building and everything is right there. Of course, a savannah room is the nicest, but even without that there are so many animal viewing points that you'll always be entertained. The pool is great, and there are animal overlooks surrounding it, and these great umbrellas with misty fans in them.

Even if you are not an adventurous eater, give Boma a try and I bet you'll like it. We took my BIL (he was 16 at the time) and he is far from being an adventurous eater. If allowed, he'd eat chicken fingers everynight. With that said, he really enjoyed Boma. He found tons of food to eat and especially liked the desserts. At most other places he had a hard time deciding on an entree he'd like, but at Boma there was so much to choose from he was fine.

Now, for CSR, we didn't eat at their sit-down restaurant while we were there so I can't comment on it. The resort, however, I thought was beautiful, with lots of nice trails to walk around and explore. For me though, the animal views beat out CSR's scenery. We stayed at CSR once but have stayed at AKL 4 times and I am thinking about going back there in February.

The CSR has more of a convention hotel feel imo. The AKL will give you a chance to see some animals without having to visit AK.
