Pick A Pearl

My Mom and I both did the Pick a Pearl at Epcot on December 10th. My Mom got a 7 1/2 pink pearl, absolutely beautiful. I got a rare silver blue pearl that is absolutely gorgeous! I picked the dolphin pendant setting and it couldn't be more perfect. I am a regular looking pearly that I picked on our honeymoon in 2015, and it is still in perfect condition in its setting even after lots of wear.

Also, picking the pearl is currently $18. Settings range from $25 and up.

I didn't even see this Pick a Pearl thing... but maybe we didn't make it far enough into the Japan pavilion before we ran out of money...

No one's mentioned the Pick-a -Pearl place in front of the Yacht and Beach Club. Is it not there anymore? That's where we got mine over 11 years ago. At the time we had it set in a ring that we chose there-it was my 25th anniversary gift-DH chose the oyster, and I chose the setting/ring. Eleven years later, it and we are still going strong.

My DD does the pick a pearl in Japan every trip. Last time she had it put into a mood setting. She never takes the necklace off even when she showers and it is holding up extremely well. I don't remember the price with the setting, but it was a bit of a splurge for her.
