pick a pearl cages at Japan?

Does anyone know if they have a Mickey or Minnie cage? Could I ask someone to take a photo of the offerings the next time they happen to be there? I am wondering if I should buy one in advance, I found some really cute ones on etsy, but if they are similar there I will not bother.

Seriously, no problem. I'll take a look when we're there. We always go to Mitsukoshi though I usually steer clear of the pearl counter. I'll make sure to take a look (or a squizz).

Poor Steve! I'm in the same boat. I love Mitsukoshi but the pearl counter is so . . . umm frantic. I know its popular but I just kinda of sneak by it and keep on trucking. Good luck to you, Steve

They do not have any Disney-themed cages or other settings for the pearls. You will find hearts, swirls, etc. but nothing licensed.

Actually, there isn't very much Disney merchandise at all in the World Showcase shops. Italy has some Murano glass Mickey heads. UK has some Pooh items. But in general, the countries sell items from that country, not Disney stuff.

I wonder if the DS PaP has them? (we briefly looked at what I think was the PaP store at DTD for leigh's mum's gift, but everything was ridiculously expensive)

Nope, it's at the other locations as well; those are Pearl Factory kiosks (unlike Japan which is Mitsukoshi) who also don't have licensed settings. You'd have to get one elsewhere (eBay, Etsy, etc.).

They're not really my style to be honest, but I still think that it's crazy they don't have licensed items, $2 shops sell Disney licensed items, it seems anyone can get the rights to sell Disney stuff.
