I picked AKL because you'll have a car. Save the Polynesian for a time when you need to totally rely on DIsney transportation.

Also, I think the AKL bathroom setup is better for friends who aren't that kind of friends. With the Poly doesn't it vary by building?

AKL all the way, no question. Polynesian is just too much for not that much... especially if you have a car. Use the money you will save at AKL to buy yourself something nice. Just make sure its a Savannah view.
