Hi girls!

I bought this tiara about 2 or 3 years ago when they had their big sale, but I am not sure if I want to wear it. It is so difficult to put in! Ugh!

If you could show me a pic of what you looked like in the tiara, I would appreciate it!!!

Also, did you have problems with it not feeling secure??

THANKS!

No photos of me as I did not use a Swarovski tiara but my DH's niece was going to lend me her Swarovski tiara for our wedding. I brought it down to Florida a few months before our wedding when we were down there for my hair and makeup trial. I had Ana for my hair and makeup and when I showed it to her she said the Swarovski tiara's were very hard to keep in.

I know there are a few brides on these boards that used Swarovski tiaras and they are beautiful. I am sure some of them will come on here and let you know what they did.

Here is a photo of the tiara that I used.

Thanks, Linda! You look beautiful! :)

I am hoping some other girls have used the Cinderella one and can share a pic, too. :)

I have a swarovski tiara and am having second thoughts about wearing it...Figures I bought it about 2 years ago...Oh well. It does look a little difficult to put in. A friend of mine and I had a tea party when I got the tiara...I just had to wear it! She ended up bobby-pinning the heck out of it. I was really afraid to move b/c it still felt like it was going to fall off....I didn't think about that for the wedding day...Hmmmm....:rolleyes1
Guess its just something else to work on before the wedding...:surfweb:

Could you sew combs to the tiara. I'm sure you don't want to glue it but I think sewing the combs could work.

I wore my Cinderella tiara. I bought it as soon as I saw it, years before I was even engaged. I just knew it was me. It was a pain in the $#@ to put in. I took it to a hair trial at home to find out if it was even going to be possible, or if I should look into getting extensions to help it out, or what. The hairstylist hated it and we had nothing but issues. We ended up deciding to take it to a jeweler and had them saulter the little hoops so that they didn't move around anymore. On the day of the wedding, when I took it out of the box, I thought Ana was going to cry. She confessed to hating Swarovski tiaras because of the little moving hooks (and especially the Cinderella one as it is sooo heavy). When we showed her what we'd done she thought it was genius. It made is so much easier to put it and no sweat. I had no issues with it all night and didn't need anymore hair. It worked perfectly!! My parents are genius I tell you!

Also, I really wanted "square" shaped jewelery (dunno why) but when I actually looked at the tiara, the teardrop shape became obvious and really helped me pick out the perfect necklace and earrings.

Hi! Can you explain to me what you did with your tiara?? I'm trying to understand, and I'm sorry, but I just don't, and I'd love to know what you did because Ana absolutely hates my BIG tiara. I wasn't able to physically show her because I had forgotten to bring it with me, but I showed her my tiara in photos... she even recommended that I go and buy another smaller one because of the issue that I may have problems keeping it on. With my heart heavy, I've started looking for other ones, but now that you mentioned this, it brings me some ray of hope that I may be able to wear mine after all. I would love to know what you did with your tiara. My tiara looks to be about as BIG if not bigger than yours...and it has no coomb attached at all, just empty ends. Also, were you able to dance and twirl around with your tiara in or was it a problem?? THANKS so much for your advice and help!!!! It's given me some ray of hope!! :cloud9: :goodvibes
