Photoworks book delayed...anyone else?

Got an email this afternoon that my book is delayed. No info on WHEN it might be ready. Anybody else hear from Photoworks?

I don't have a huge problem with a week or two delay, was not counting on this as a gift, but when you offer 20,000 free books, you better be geared up to make them!

Well I think they are very behind on the Bonnie Hunt books they gave away and now they did this new promotion...so who knows. My Bonnie book has shipped, but the one we sent to my Mom keeps getting the delayed message. However, when I check my new book order with the new promo it's already been prepared...so who knows how they are doing things

I called. The girl said it was delayed right around thanksgiving but is back in "production." She had no reason why I just got the email now...But it is bakc being worked on.

I got an email that said the same thing... but the next day it said the book was shipped. It is supposed to be coming ups.... hopefully I will get it this week. What a great deal.

Got my Bonnie book today.

Didn't take part in the other one, as I felt they had already been generous enough.

I had received the delay email. Now I received a second one this morning saying production was still delayed on the Bonnie book.

Now I see on another thread that they were offering another time sensitive deal. Doesn't Photoworks think they should catch up with one offer before starting another????

I ordered several copies...the first one, just got a ship notice.... the second... got the delay and then next day a ship notice... and the third one just got the delay. My guess is they gave 25,000 free books, that is alot of production, on top of the other deals they have... I don't think there will end up being a problem with them, just need time to catch up with the orders and ship them.

Let me get this straight you're all complaining about a FREE book? Sorry but my thoughts are if it's free then you'll get it when they send it if you paid that's a different story.

What I'm complaining about is that Photoworks shouldn't offer yet another time sensitive offer to customers until they know that they have their production from a prior offer caught up. The whole point of these offers IMO is to introduce their service and get more customers (especially from other sites like Snapfish), but if they can't keep up with production as offered, they should slow down on the new offers until they can.

To those still waiting--the book I had been waiting on finally got a tracking number this morning, and it was actually sent out on the 1st so it's almost here. Just FYI,some of you may get your book before your tracking code!

Mine came today... very nice, not as good as shutterfly, but turned out nice.
