I've been using Limewire for years, and so have all of my friends for their songs. Nothing has ever happened. Our computer teacher told us that its too much of a hassle to...catch you using the program, unless you are a business.

Idunno.

As for the LimeWire thing, my cousin had it and his computer seriously just crashed to death. It killed his whole laptop. So yeah, either have REALLY REALLY good virus protection, be careful, or don't get it at all IMO

I think so....but I'm not that computer-smart when it comes to PROTECTING the computer. All I know is that LimeWire didn't do my cousin's computer any good LOL.

I trust my dad to "protect" our computers.

It would probably just be easier to seek out someone who has it and get a copy.
Ex: friend, friend of the family, family, teacher, etc.
