Photosensitivity/American Idol

It had been a very long time since we went to the American Idol show at DHS. My son is photosensitive and had problems at the start of the show this afternoon. Several times there was lower house lighting and very bright flashing lights. We have seen this show several times before, but never noticed the flashing lights. The rest of the show, when they flashed those lights, the house lights were not dimmed as much and it didn't make such a huge contrast and he was fine. But just wanted to give the heads-up for anyone else who is photosensitive.

We had this same question when we were at WDW in July. There was a kind and caring CM (Christy) who took us through American Idol on a tour to answer our questions about lights & photosensitivity (epilepsy).

We couldn't stay to see the show due to the lights, but I will always remember how Christy treated us, and how she helped us get an answer. She was a very special person!
