I took a few photos while waiting for the ME bus yesterday morning. It was the first day that I did not see the construction walled off from public view and also the first day I saw buses (other than ME) stopping at the Hospitality House.
Since we arrived on 6/29, and maybe before that, you had to board at Peninsular. They would drop you off near the big compass in the road if you requested, before turning up Millers Rd. After that stop, the bus would leave the resort to its destination.
Every time we approached the security gate, the prerecorded stop announcement would say "Ladies and Gentlemen,.. the Hospitality House". I would think, yeah there it is, but we aren't stopping so if you were headed there, you are out of luck.
A CM with a clipboard asked me if he could answer any questions when he saw me watching the bell services work. I asked him when Southwest was to have OKW check-in, and he said July 20. If you are there July 20 and SW still is not there - Don't kill the messenger, OK?
Here's some photos: I don't know if they are keeping the bell services desk they have now, but my guess would be no. Note the stone floor in the area. That is what they must have been sandblasting the other day - what a racket that made! For perspective, the 3rd photo was taken from the current Bell Services desk. This is my first photo posting, so if they are too big, someone let me know, and i will do some resizing and editing.
