Having returned from our 7-day Western 3 weeks ago, I'm now in the process of putting my scrapbook together and am realizing all the photo ops I missed. Does anyone have a picture of the terrazzo floor map of the Caribbean from the Disney terminal that you could post? I'd be very grateful!

It seems that there is always something that I forget to take a picture of. Guess that just means that we need to keep going back. :) Sorry I don't have a picture of the map. I don't even remember seeing it the two times that we have been in the terminal. :( :( I just told DH last night that he is going to stand in line with the kids next time so that I can take some pictures. :)

I'll try to remember to do this on my 6/26 cruise. I'm afraid I'm going to be too excited to remember a floor!

mecook...exactly!!! You get so caught up in the "look at this, look at that" that you forget to take pictures. Now, in review, I'm remembering all these things and could kick myself. I guess, on the other hand, we could be so busy taking pictures that we don't enjoy the "magic".

My DD did take some pictures of the floor, but not of the whole map. I know we have Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral, the compass rose at the far end, Cinderella's castle, and a turtle.

This is exactly the reason that I've decided to leave the video camera at home. DH cannot see to take video or photos with his trifocal glasses.
This means I'd have to do it all and I wouldn't see anything but the back of a camera and a little bit thru the lens. I would love to be able to have the horn sounds and the party music on tape, but it's not worth it.

mecook...just FYI, if this is your first cruise...this was our first and just this past week, I received a CD in the mail from Castaway Club (once you cruise, you're automatically a member :) ) The first "song" is the ship's horn and the rest is island music so....you can only hope. :goodvibes

Some clever person should figure out a way to upload the music to the internet and then all those "Castaway Cay" sick :rotfl2: people could download it for their very own. :cool1:

Someone on these boards does have the ship's horn as a sound file....I know I have seen them post about it before.

I've downloaded this horn twice, but I don't know how to make it play.
Help?
