Thought I'd add some photos of our room from our recent stay.

If Anybody has any questions I'd be happy to try and answer.

Great Pics, thanks!

How did you like your stay?

Can't wait to be back in a couple of month!

What great pix!! :yay: How did you like your room?? Was it a 'deluxe' or 'standard'?? I thought deluxes had pullout sofas? :confused3 (then again, I've never stayed at PBH, so what do I know?)

You had a beautiful room, and view...what a great view of the pool!!!

Anything you didn't like about it?? :confused3

If you look as far as you can to the left, you can see the arm of the pullout mini sofa

Hey does anyone know if the Coffee maker is in any room at the HRH and does it cost extra to make that Coffee?? Even though I am addicted to Starbucks and will most likely be there every morning . :thumbsup2
BTW we are booked HRH Club level. :goodvibes

That's about how big it is, too. :lmao:

:rotfl:

i think i remember coffee maker in our room at HRH last year...but, not THAT one...lemme check my TR from Feb 07....

ETA: I don't have a pic, but I'm pretty sure there was one in the "bar" area....

I wonder if they put new single serve coffee makers in all the rooms?

When we were there in November (PBH), they were replacing all the coffee makers. The hallways were a mass of boxes as they had a new coffee pot in front of each door. Housekeeping told us they were hoping to have them all replaced within the week. What a huge job!

I can't wait to go back:lovestruc I am in total love with the bathroom and forgot how pretty the pool is. I am usually way to cold to go in the pool even if it is 80 degrees out but I like to gaze at it:rotfl2: :cloud9:

Thanks for all the kind comments the room was great.

The arm in the corner of one of the pictures was of an armchair and not a sofa. Not sure if it was a pull out or not.

We loved having the coffee maker as we were quite a way from the club lounge it came in handy.

I am trying to decide between the Portofino and the Hard Rock for this August. We have stayed at the Portofino a couple of times so thought we would try something new.

But we really liked the coffee maker and also the bigger bathrooms with seperate shower. So I don't know if we should stick with what we know. The only thing pulling me towards the Hard Rock at the moment is that it has an AP rate available for our dates and the Portofino doesn't.

Decisions Decisions

Do all of the deluxe rooms have flat screen TV's? In the pictures on the PBH website they show regular ones, but that may have been a standard room. We will be staying in this same type room in June. I hope I get that view of the pool!

That is most likely an old picture....they should all be upgraded to flat screen tvs ;)

hello,
do they charge for the use of the coffe???

i love coffee in the morning but dont want to be charged an arm & leg for it lol

Thanks for posting. You had a beautiful view of the pool and it made me think back to last summer when I stayed there. I may love WDW and the Polynesian, but I have to say I found the Portofino to be a unique and beautiful place to stay. After seeing those photos, it makes me wishing I was there right now.

No the coffee is free and housekeeping will bring you as much as you need. The charge you can see in the photo was for the bottled water. We just we just used the bottles of water in the club lounge and bought them back to the room.

Those new coffee makers are great and are far superior to the older style "brew by the pot" type of coffee maker. I love being able to make a single cup of coffee whenever you want it with no hassle or mess. No dirty hotel coffee pot to worry about either. A very good idea on the part of the hotel management, IMO.
