Photos of new DLH room

Looks great! I'd love to stay there. I'm sure now the price will go up even more!

Thanks for the link :thumbsup2 the rooms look so much nicer with the dark wood and those headboards are amazing :cool1:

I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel almost 3 years ago finally realizing a childhood dream of mine, now looking at the new pics I want to go back !!!

Cute!! This is the one we didn't get to stay at, even with 2 years of APs we didn't get to the DLH. I'm hoping we can stay on site in a few years when we go back and I'm hoping we can stay here. :)

I GOT ONE! :cool1: It was sooo totally incredible! I was going to post some pics of the little extras...but then I decided it was so totally awesome to be able search and find the little extras! When we got to the room, we dropped our bags and went on a search for Mickeys! I think had I seen the pics all before it would have made it less magical!

AND don't worry there are still little things that even those pics don't show!!! :)

Did you book a Standard room, or are all the new rooms "view" rooms?

Booked a standard room, but we were upgraded to a view...it IS kinda confusing...they did not do it by floors, they did half of the building and now are working on the other half, like split it right down the center....Maybe on that half they do not even have non-view rooms! I DID request one too!

Thanks! That's good to know. I just booked a room with the AP rate for mid-March. We haven't stayed there in years because my 6 yo son is a climber and escape artist (he has autism) and those sliding doors scared me to death! I explained the situation to the CM on the reservation line and she put in a request for either a new room OR a room on the first or 2nd floor. If we can't get one of those requests at check-in we'll have to move to another hotel:sad2: because I wouldn't be able to relax or sleep!

I may be alone on this.....but I liked the charm of the rooms prior to the remodel.....now it looks like every other "nice" hotel. Not my style when I think Disney. I loved the quaintness of it!! To me with those dark colors it makes the room dark & depressing.

What did they do with the old tv stands that were carved & the headboards?? I would have loved to get my hands on one of those or even one of the bedspreads!!!

I heard that CM's could buy the furniture removed from the rooms... I would love to get one of the 4 poster beds!

I thought so too...but trust me...it is SOOOOO Disney...sure I miss Tink, but still awesome!

Thanks for sharing! I was actually quite excited when I found out they were re-doing the rooms. And I especially love the headboard :thumbsup2

What makes the music play turning off one of the lights?

I like the looks of the remodel, castle is a nice touch.

We are staying at DLH in August. We have our fingers crossed for the new room. We are also really looking forward to the pools! :cool1:

There is a switch on the light...the music turns off after one round, but the "firework" lights stay on until you turn them off!
