Photos of Guest Decorated Windows

Do all the resorts allow you to decorate doors/windows? We are staying at AKL in July and would LOVE to do this. Are there any rules? Does anyone have tips? Anyone know where I could go to print personalized signs like the ones people have in their pics?

This was our window at Pop last month. I wanted to drape the flags all across the windows and have more lanterns, but I also didn't want to use tape or anything on their walls so this was the only way to get it all done without leaving any type of "footprint"

And our building was the PERFECT color. ;)

SO cute!!!! I love that!:lovestruc

Awesome idea. I love doing stuff like this. Wonder if they would allow it at Shades of Green.

OMG! That is SO cute. I'm in love with tangled... awesome job! :thumbsup2

This probably sounds "Goofy" but I"m not taking the kids this time and I really want to decorate my windows. In fact, I've never in the past thought about decorating the windows or doors (since I just joined DIS in April this year). Is it silly for an adult to do this? I guess no one will know I have no kids with me this trip but I would really like to do this. I like the simple fact that it makes finding your room easier!

We have no children and I always spend time on getting things ready to take with us for "window dressing". It keeps me entertained as I wait to go to Disney. When the window and door are decorated, it helps us to find the room.:goodvibes

The photos in the posts below are of my window in POR French Quarter. I went on a solo trip without my kids in March...shocking...I know. LOVED every minute of it!! I love going with my kids, but I experienced a "different Disney" without them. Anywho...I enjoyed decorating my window!

I am new to all of this adding photos:confused3 I took a solo trip to POR French Quarter in March of this year. I had so much fun!! This is how I decorated my window.

LOVE seeing all the wonderfully decorated windows. The purple above is gorgeous!!

I'm planning a pirate themed window at POFQ for our stay. It will be the first time we've decorated a window.

So far I have:

Pirate Party Birthday banner
Mickey Head paint chips from Home Depot
gold coins/beads
jolly roger flag

Any ideas are appreciated!!

I can't take credit - but here were some great decorations by the staff at Disney!

I am planning for our first Valentine's Day trip, could I have some pictures please of February/Valentine's Day windows? :lovestruc

This thread has given me a lot of great ideas! Thanks everyone! Never thought about using suction cups, will have to go out and look for those before we leave so I can use them for the window decorations I've made. :woohoo:

So many great ideas! I've never seen a door or window decorated while staying at DW. I'm definitely going to come up with something for my honeymoon and surprise my fiance'!!!!
