Hi there,

I'm sure there must be a thread somewhere, but I've had no luck finding it.

I was wondering if anyone could share some exterior and interior shots of the FW cabins?

Or if you could directly me to the link that already has them?

Much appreciated-thanks!:)

Those are the best two that I have. We love staying at the cabins. I have been there 3 times. But honestly, they are just fancy trailers. We love the privacy, kitchen and FW. I doubt we will stay anywhere else for a while.

Thanks! Now, I noticed it looks like there are two doors on the porch-are there two cabins per "building"?

We were thinking about staying in one but there are only the two of us and it seems like the cabins are made for larger families.

No, I think that backdoor comes out from the back of the home. There's only one cabin per building.

They are pretty big - but it would still be nice for just two people. There's only one bedroom -- just ignore the bunk beds. (Unless you want to sleep in them! LOL) And, there's only one bathroom.

The second door leads directly to the bedroom. Doesn't make much sense for it to be there, but it is :)

While the cabin is more spacious than most hotel rooms, it's not that spacious. DH & I enjoyed it and commented that you might lose your mind in there with more than 2 kids.

Keep in mind the bed in the bedroom is a full size. If you're used to a king at home, as we are, well, someone is sleeping on the Murphy bed. :) I tried the bunk bed, but I'm on the tall side and my legs were cramped.

Having the full kitchen was great, even though we did not use it. We were there for only 3 days in January.

We are booked again for a week in July to really get a real sense of FW and see how much we enjoy the cabins. But, we also used to occassionally stay at the old Institue in a townhome and really enjoyed the sense of being in a home.

I think the extra door might be a fire code or something. It is odd. We never used it. The cabins are not that big. The first time we had 4 people.....it felt small. The next two times it was just 3 of us. It was perfect. I am loyal to FW so i am sure you can find people that are just as loyal to other resorts. But in my humble opinion....FW is the best. Here is my short list why..

It is quiet. After a day at the park it is wonderful.
Kitchen. We don't always make it out to dinner.
Wild life (deer, Bunny's, birds, otters)
Fireworks at the Beach.
DH loves to fish. (never catches anything).
The deck and grill. Steaks are better there then at the World.

Good luck.

We have a family of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed the cabins, especially for the price! The boys were in the bunks, big sis and baby were in the full size in the bedroom. Me and hubby slept on the Murphy Bed--which was much more comfortable than a pull out sofa you may get at an Embassy Suites or the like.

Best part: we could tuck everyone in bed and close the door.

We didn't find it cramped because the kids could go freely in and out to enjoy the outside, unlike a hotel room. And we didn't make out the Murphy Bed in the living room until time to go to bed. Plenty of space, we thought.

The extra door allows you those sleeping in the bedroom to enter and leave the cabin without disturbing someone sleeping in the front section (on the murphy bed). When we went, my friend and his daughter stayed in the bedroom and I got the Murphy bed, but we both had our own space at night.

Im a smoker..and the back door came in very handy for me to step outside and catch a cigarette without waking up the grandson in the front room with my 2 daughters. the DDs would have slept through an opening door, but the baby wakes up to the sound of a silent fart!!!

Here's some photos of the inside of it when it has that "lived in look"
Here what the cabins look like in the morning when you cram 6ppl and an infant into one....

Notice the homemade mickey-ears hanging from the bunk...
