Photos missing? Magic shots have no "magic"??

We bought a pp+ this year for our trip and just got home. We have pictures of our kiddos in the little adventure camp missing we also have pics of the whole family by the DCA waterfall missing (should also have a magic shot)

We also did magic shots in front of the castle and the pumpkin. I dont see the pumpkin magic shots at all... And the ones in front of the castle dont have the "magic" in them. Its just my kids holding their hands weird...

Am i just tough out of luck? Its a good chunk of our pics missing

Contact PP ASAP to tell them about the problem. Be as specific as you can about details (e.g. how many photos missing, time and date and location, how many people in the photos and general description, outfits, poses, etc.). The PP team has always found our photos and restored them quickly. But you have to act quickly so that your photos can be recovered more easily.

I have this same issue on my photos from this last weekend, but then I noticed the corrected magic shots were at the end of the photo stream online. Did you look at all of your photos?

Same thing happened to me. All Magic Shots had the effect missing, but showed up a few days later in the photostream with effect.

Had missing photos too - my friend's photos with Olaf were on the pass, the ones together and mine not. Couldn't recover them for some reason.

The magic shots were taken almost a week ago.
The other weird thing is the same photograpger took the kids adventure pics that are missing and we ran into her just a bit later in front of soarin and she took some by the gas pump... Those ones are there.


How long did it take for the magic stuff to show up? I did go through every photo a few timea just to be safe.... so im positive whats missing

If it's a week they should be there. The latest "delay" my magic shots had was 4 days.

I noticed my Lightin' McQueen photos were missing. I immediately emailed them and told them but they couldn't find them

I agree that if it's been a week then there is likely a problem. I took several Magic Shot photos on my last trip and sometimes a copy of the photo without the added element appeared in my account very quickly (along with the other photos that were taken at that time), but the photo with the Magic Shot sometimes took a bit to appear (usually within 24 to 48 hours). I agree that your best bet is to email Photopass right away see if they can help you.

Agree with tips above but suggest it's much better to call them versus email. You need to narrow down the search verbally with some back and forth. Plus, they add the magic to shots right on the phone (shows up in a few minutes).

For the missing shots, they definitely need time and location for the search. They have to be added to your account manually.

Before calling, I retraced my steps and put together a time window (using other photos taken on my phone/camera and time stamps). It also helped to see what everyone was wearing at the time. Once you have time/location, tell them what to look for as they flip though photos (bright unique shirt, number of persons, anything). I was on the phone 30+ minutes, but they weren't in a rush and we found all of them. It's frustrating, but what can ya do. Just stay friendly.
