sorry no clear photos of the lanterns on main st, they look best lit up and my night time shots are not great ! and yes I am a technophobe but learning very slowly

Thanks Di, yes it was a serious question, lol. Your pics are lovely and it's good to see a close up. I hope they make me say "wow" when I see them "live"..... I don't want to be dissappointed, I was a big fan of the good old arches!.... Only 11 days to go!

It was lovely when we were there Dee but it was a month ago now. I think people who've been since have said it's been very cold!!

The chandeliers look much better than the arches IMHO!!! But not long until you can judge for yourself!!

hi Dee, it wasn't as cold in DLRP as it was in south wales the week we had the snow, I have been to a lantern parade tonight with the childrens school from 5pm til 6.30 pm and it was as cold then as it was in DLRP, the sun was out some days and it didn,t feel that cold at first but, as you are outside for soo long you really do feel it,also there was a biting wind sometimes which was not nice my feet were the worst,its definately thermal socks for next year!
we are welsh we are built for bad weather!
