I am just wondering if there is anywhere in the parks or village where you can get all of the photos from your camera (or the memory stick on your camera) put onto a disc or cd? I don't want to get them printed, just put from the memory stick onto a cd or disc.

They have somewhere at the parks at WDW that you can do this and it's handy as you can take so many photos whilst away its good to be able to clear them from the memory stick and have them put onto a cd or disc and have just thought where I can get this done at Disneyland Paris or is there somewhere at Val d'europe.

Thanks :goodvibes

Yes, I definitely saw signs in the Photographic shop on the corner of Main Street (Train station end), and I am sure I also saw signs outside the first shop on the right after you enter the Studios too!

They also sell memory cards, batteries and anything else you might need (even cameras!)

Thank you so much for that :goodvibes

Thats great, as we do tend to take a lot of photos and as we are travelling to Europe for a month in total and knowing how many photos we took at WDW earlier in the year, I know we will need to empty the photos off the camera to allow some room for more. Could just get another memory card, but it's just as easy (easier acutally, I get worried we will lose that tiny little memory card) to get them put onto a cd.

Burning pictures on CD at DLRP is not a good idea. Some years ago I lost two empty Memory Sticks in Paris and so I only had one Memory Stick left. I asked at the Photo Shop at Mainstreet and the price was a shock. :scared1:

I can't remember the price correctly but it was something about 12€ for 100 pictures. (and that was 4 years ago when everything was cheaper and pictures were not as big as today) And what are 100 pictures at DLRP.

I then decided to by a new Memory Stick at the Photo Shop which was also very expensive but as I can use this one more than once I thought this was the better alternative.

I am also afraid to loose or to delete a Memory Stick while on vacation. But there are also portable hard drives to empty your Memory Sticks.

Thanks for that Marcus.ka

It wasn't cheap at WDW either but they charged by the CD not by the number of photos you put onto the CD, but there was a limit to the number of photos you could put on there, but I can't remember now how many, but I'm sure it was about 200 or so. Anyway we did about 6 cds on that trip, but....... had a horrendous experience that I have learnt from.

We dropped the memory stick into the Kodak shop at Epcot, then started the process and put the memory stick into the machine, then they gave the memory stick back as it has started doing the cds and the images had been downloaded. It was going to be a long time and 3 cd's so I opted to have the cds sent back to the hotel, so we paid, got our receipt and left. When we got back to the hotel that night (or the next day, I can't remember how long it took). I picked up the CD's at the store in our hotel, went up to our room and there was one CD in there and the image cards for 3 CD's :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: (I had deleted the photos off the memory stick)

So in a massive panic I called the store at epcot and the missing CD's were no where to be found. So I thought we had lost about 500 photos :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

The next day we had to take the camera and memory stick into the shop, where we had to leave the camera and memory stick so their tech people could try and recover the missing and deleted photos off the memory stick. Amazingly they were :wizard: , so we were very lucky :woohoo: .

But my lesson and a lesson to everyone out there having their photos put onto a CD is don't delete photos off the memory stick until you know that they are safely onto that CD!! :rolleyes1

I wouldn't bother transferring them onto a DVD, just but another memory card / stick instead for your camera. You'll get so much more use out of it for future holidays too.

There is a facility to copy onto disc at the Auchan hypermarket (val d'Europe).
I agree that with the falling prices of digital memory I'd prefer to have extra memory cards :)

I would go for more memory cards as they are just so cheap now. When we go in January we have 6Gb between us so we shouldn't run out.

You can buy some amazing memory cards really cheaply from amazon - this is what we did - took 400 photos and still tons of space left on the card.

Did manage to lose our old memory stick for the video camera whilst we were there though - it only holds about 20 photos but there were some really precious ones on there :( I called lost property when we got home but of course nobody's going to find a tiny little memory card :(
