Hello!

We are leaving for Disney on 2/19. I am wondering how the "free" photo for Disney Visa card holders work? Where do you go to get the photos? Has anyone done this and what do you think?

Thank you!

:sunny:

We went to Innoventions in the afternoon, asked a cast member where to go, headed over, got in line, waited maybe 10 minutes, showed my Disney Visa, was given a photo pass card and a coupon for a free 5x7, and then we went into a private, curtained room. My son got to hug and shake hands with Mickey and Pluto!! The 3 of us had 4 or 5 shots taken with the two of them in front of the faux wood paneling/club house backdrop and then went along on our very merry way. We walked straight down to the camera center at the base of Spaceship Earth, presented our coupon and our photo pass, chose which one we wanted, and within minutes we had our free photo!
It was as easy and fun as that. :thumbsup2

Thank you, I have been wondering the same thing. We are going in June and I wanted to take advantage of the offer as well. I think the offer said up 8 people or something, do you know?

It is at Innovations - but I can't remember whether it's East or West. We had to ask because we couldn't find it. It doesn't exactly jump out at you. But it is inside the Innovations section with the firetruck.

We went twice during our week long vacation since you can get one per day. Both times though...it was Minnie and Goofy. But we didn't mind. Free pictures are great!

The only other thing I have to add is that it's between 1pm and 4pm each day and make sure you have your actual Disney Visa - the credit card, not your rewards card.

If my memory is correct: You turn right when you come in the main door. The room is along the front wall, on the right side of the walkway. There were video games on the other side of the walkway. There was a "park bench" in the waiting area/line.

Cool, I forgot about this! We'll have to check it out on Sat! :Pinkbounc

We did this in October. We had Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. It was very cute, and no wait.

Just curious, is there an end date for this? When the Happiest Celebration is over, will this end too? (thats the end of 2006 right?)

This sounds great...I can't wait to get our picture! Thanks for the info!

Question...

Do you have to get the photo while you are in the park or can you order it from the Photopass website later once you get home (and it still be free)?

Also, since they are doing that with Photopass, do you have to get one of the pictures that they made there as your free one or can you say pick the picture of your family in front of Cinderella's Castle as the free print that you get (assuming that you use the same photopass for both pictures)?

Thanks

You do have to pick up your free photo before you leave the park for the day. And you can only get it at Epcot. (The pickup photo place is right outside Spaceship Earth.)

And you can only choose your free from the ones taken at the event.

You have to pick it up before you leave Epcot. Which picture they let you pick for free depends on the CM. The first time he only offered me those photos taken at the meet and greet but on our second trip the CM showed us the meet and greet photos but also said I could pick from the photos with Santa at MK if I wanted.

So pick it up before you leave (cannot be done later or at home) Epcot and plan on getting the meet and greet photo but you 'may' be able to get a different one depending on the CM.
