Photos at Shuters

I think I read somewhere but can't find it...
Can you accumulate pictures at Shutters and pay at the end to get a better deal?
I've seen that there are packag deals, do you do that up front or what?

Last time we cruised I didn't know about this and bought lots of pictures and spent lots of money, thought I would do a little research and be price savvy this time.

They do clear them up to make way for new ones, some people stack them up together in one place so if they are stored they will find them all together, there is a package deal and you do not need to buy all of them at the same time. You pay in advance for the amount of photos you will buy, and then are given a card to come back later and buy the rest

Also, if you buy the package and don't end up with the number of pictures included, they'll refund money. You can trade out pictures at any time.

For $84.95, the pre-paid card is good for any ten 6x9 photos. There is a small savings vs. the $9.95 per photo. This card cannot be used for the larger 8x10s. We purchased the card but ended up only buying one 6x9 so we got a refund on the card. We bought a lot more 8x10s.

My suggestion is to bring your own camera and take lots of your own pics and if you see shutters taking a pic just take one at the same time....


You can ask at the desk for your photos to be held all of ours were held untill the end... dont forget the formal pics they take before dinner.... we found that they were the nice to have of the whole family....

There is no benefit to waiting until the end of the cruise....ie no speical deals. You can stack your photos in groups...but DON'T expect them to be right where you left them...and sometimes mixed out of the "group" There were many days we had to re-search out our photos. And I regret not just purchasing the punch card and getting the must have photos as we found them...because as it happend by stacking the photos...and waiting until the last day we ended up not getting the ONE photo I really wanted. We were able to order the pic after we left...but it would have been SO much easer to just get it on the ship...And knowing now that if you don't find enough photos to use up your card...your not just stuck with having left over punches...your able to get your money back...and you can also upgrade your punch card to the next level if you are finding more photos.

So yes you can stack them and wait until the end...but No there is no speicals at the end...all the non purchased photos are just tossed. No deals to be made.
