Last year we used a code and received photopass for only $50 (thanks to the DIS). Is that offer still out there??

PS - just noticed you said you PAID $50, not saved $50. I don't know of any offer to get the CD for $50 - for as far back as I can remember. Only this $99.95 pre-order offer - and you can't use any other codes with that, other than I have used a free shipping code with it once. All other percentage off discount offers cannot be applied to the PP pre-order.

We just returned from WDW; we're pretty much newbies but I've gotta say the pre-pay of the photopass was one of our best decisions. We've got some great photos and we're VERY glad we learned about this in time! Thanks DIS!

I too have never heard of a discount that lowers the cost of the photopass to $50, only the $50 discount. If you find this $100 discount, would mind sharing?

For awhile, there was a DVC discount you could combine with the prepurchase deal, which has since been eliminated. The double-dip would have lowered the price below $99, but not all the way to $50 I don't think.

Yes, that's right - it was a temporary loophole when they took away the pre-order deal for the general public. DVC members could get it with a code by calling Member Services, then they brought back the general public offer and a few people with good timing happened to be able to use both. Totally forgot about that.

Thanks for the replies. It was nice getting the photopass for $50 last year. The prepay offer is a good deal also

We got lucky last year too! We got the code, then like the next day they started the $50 off for everyone. So I added the code to that and paid $50! Plus my best friend and I were splitting the cost I actually only paid $25!!
