I know this question probably comes up numerous times, but what do you have to do to qualify for the pre-purchase discount now?

I've e-mailed Photopass direct from the website, but I've had a generic response which says:

The pre-arrival savings offer is made available through the marketing
department of Disney Destinations. In order to receive this prepurchase
offer, the guest must meet the following guidelines:

-Have an upcoming reservation in a Walt Disney World Hotel

-Have their email address on file in the marketing database

-Have opted in to receive email from the Walt Disney World company.


Now, we're staying at a Walt Disney World hotel, but through a UK travel agent. Does this mean we don't qualify? It's all very confusing nowadays isn't it!! :lmao:

If we still do, how on earth do I get on the mailing list for marketing? :confused3

Any ideas or answers would be appreciated :)
 
They now send it out 45 days beforehand! Which for me should be Friday, woooo! I'm not too sure how successful people have been from the UK in getting it, though. I think if you don't get it at your 45 day mark if you e-mail Photopass with proof of a reservation they will still honour it.

I'm hoping because I've booked through Disney US I'll get it automatically!

I'm sure someone who has had experience will be along to explain better than I have!
 
Ah right, as I said, we're not booked directly through Disney, we're booked through Thomas Cook Signature. More than likely we won't get it then, as we're under the 45 day mark now too.

Oh well, I'll keep an eye on the website to see if they've got any monthly offers on around May. Would have been nice to have discount though, we'll most definitely be using the service as it's the only way we'll get all 5 of us on photo's :)
 
We didn't receive our email even though we were booked through Disney and regularly receive other emails. :confused3 I emailed them the details of our booking and they apologised and sent me a personalised code which gave $50 off any purchase on the Photopass site.

So contact them again with your details ~ even if you don't have a booking reference no. they should be able to find you under the lead name.

I've just read over at Stitch Kingdom that apparently it's now 10 days before you check-in that you get the e-mail! Grrr! I was looking forward to it today :flower3:

None yet :( I've only had the auto-response from the photopass team as of yet. I'm thinking I may call them next week and be cheeky and ask directly :lmao:
