Am I right in thinking that you pay a certain amount of money for a "card" before you go.

When at disney parks you can have your disney photos taken and put on the "card"

When back at home, you choose so many photos that are included within the price (for example 10 photos for cost of £50) or do you just buy the card, then when home have to pay for the photos separately ?? :goodvibes

You pay upfront for a CD, then when you're there you get given a card the first time you get a photo taken by a photopass photographer, then give each one after the card and they'll add them onto it. You can get as many cards as you want so if you leave one at the hotel it doesn't matter.

When you get back home you get ALL the pictures. You can have thousands if you want and you keep them all. You can edit them and add borders and when you've finished you order the cd, along with the code you get when you pre pay and you get the cd/'s (any extra cd's are free if you have a lot of photos.

You do not need to buy anything, or commit to anything, before you go.

When you are in the parks, the first time you have your photo taken, the photographer will give you your 'Photopass' - a cardboard card with a barcode on. Every time you have your photo taken, give the photographer that card and he/she will add the photos to your account. (Although you can get multiple cards if you want to).

When you get home, you can look at your photos online. If you like them, you can buy them ALL on a CD (including versions that you have created by editing or adding borders), or buy individual photo prints, photobooks, mousemats etc. Only then do you have to pay for anything. You can just look at your photos, share them with friends etc., and decide not to buy them if you wish.

You CAN, if you want to, pre-order the photo CD in advance of your trip, which will save you money if you think you are going to want to buy the CD.

We think the system is great - and remember, there is no commitment to buy anything.

Also, if you do pre order and are not happy with what you have at the end (not enough photos etc) you can get a full refund within 2 weeks of you returning home, so there's no risk of losing money if you decide you don't want your photos.
