:goodvibes Hey guys, I keep reading about photopass on this board. Where do I get it, what is it, and is it worth the cost {keep reading its expensive!} Thanks!

The photopass is absolutely free. Upon entering the park, there are photographers everywhere. The photographers will take your picture and hand you a credit card size photopass. Everytime you get your picture taken by a Disney photographer they will scan your card. You will then be able to access any of the pictures taken on-line when you get home and order CDs or prints and you can add special Disney affects to each picture. No more waiting in line at the end of day to see all of your photos and having to decide right then and there if you want to buy them or not.

While, the photopass itself is free, the pictures can get pricey.

Think they will be at MHT?

Think they will be at MHT?

They "debuted" the photopass at MHT last year. Back then it was only good at DCA.

Also, another hint, if you do not want all of the extra animations from the website, it is better to get your CD in the DL/DCA park. In the park it is only 50.00 but online it is 125.00 or 99.00 if you pre order it. You only get the extras online though. To me, 50.00 is not worth the extra animations. You do get the add ins though such as the tink in your hand, those type of things will go on the 50.00 CD in the parks.

You can also go in on a PhotoPass share and save money! Then you can add the boarders. Also if you want to get one with Tinkerbell make sure they have you pose for it-hand out (they add Tinkerbell for you).

I work in the photo business so I do like the idea of a cd i can print my self....I hope I remember to buy the cd there if I like the pics . It's just me and my sons this trip and chances are those will be the only good pics of the 3 of us together! Thanks .........oh 1 more question , can I get the Cd at park closing?

I would go about 1/2 before the parks close, that way you can check the cd there and make sure it turned out ok before you leave and if not they can still have time to burn a new one.
