Where do you get a photopass card? Where do they take pictures? Are they all over the park or just by the big attractions? I am just wondering if I need to bring several memory cards for my camera or if I can some of the pictures through photopass.
Don't rely on PhooPass for the bulk of your pictures. You see something cool/cute/interesting, you snap a picture or 5. You'll have it forever. PhotoPass is good for posed pictures in front of iconic attractions and sites, but it doesn't replace plain old snapshots whenever and wherever you want them.
PhotoPass photgraphers are sprinkled throughout the parks. You will always find them near the central icon in each park (Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, big stupid hat), but a smattering of other places as well. Some other places I've had PhotoPass pics taken include: at the exit of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad; on Main Street with the railway station as a backdrop rather than the Castle; in Asia, across the lake from Expedition Everest; at Tower of Terror; at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster; in front of Mission:Space; in the character greeting area inside a building in Futureworld.
The very first time you want a picture taken by a PP photographer, he/she will give you a PhotoPass card. Each subswquent time you get pics taken, give them the card and they'll scan it. If you leavr the card in your room, or if your party splits up, just get another card -- you can later link together up to 10 cards into one account. Save youself a lot of potential heartache and write down your PP code numbers (from the back of the card), or better yet call your home or work or cell and leave the numbers on your voice mail. That way, even if you lose the card(s) you can still access the photos.
Prints can be bought at the parks, but I find it most convenient to wait 'til you get home and view/order them online. You can also buy a CD of ALL your PP pics (along with the written permission to print them as you want) for $124.95.
