I know that this question has probably been asked many times and I tried looking for it in the search forum, but apparently it isn't working at the moment. My question concerns the photo passes. I know that they give you a pass the first time that you have your picture taken by a cast member and everytime that you have your picture taken after that you should give them the card so that all of your pictures can be connected. My question is do I have to buy the pictures that day? Do I still have to go to Liberty Square and pick up my pictures or can I get them later. Is it possible to order them later on when I'm back home again and have them mailed to me? I would rather do it that away if possible so that the pictures do not have the chance to get messed up in our luggage. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. (Correct me on anything please if I'm wrong)

You can go online and order them when you get home. I believe they are online for a month, someone can correct me if i'm wrong about that.

Unless this has changed you used to be able to get all the pics on a disc for $99. ride pics cannot go on this disc..

You do not have to buy the pictures that day. One thing we did learn last trip (that I never knew) - you can only view pics from the park you were in at that park. Meaning - you can only view MGM photo pass pics at MGM.

Also, our pics were available for many months after.

Also, at least in January, we were able to order them online with character "signatures" superimposed on them. Neat since our 2 year old wasn't interested in autographs.

Once you are home you can purchase pictures from the photopass..you can even add the signatures and some clipart to them.
As for the CD for $99 that has to be purchased while you are still in Disney.
We opted to purchase the CD and I have added my own Disney clipart that was "borrowed" from various Disney sites.

You can order your pictures online. Go to DisneysPhotoPass.com (I believe) and set up your free account, and enter your photopass number in. All of your photos should show up there and you can do all kinds of neat things with the image tools.

Also, when I was at WDW this past March, a CM told me to keep my card as I can bring it back to use on my future visits. She even made me put my name on right there. I mean, I guess you really don't have to keep it if you can just get a new one...but if you like to hang on to it you can!
