I read about the Memory Maker option and think it's a great option for longer stays at Disney, but I am going for a 1-day trip with my 4 year old daughter to Magic Kingdom only. I don't think it would be worth it to pay for Memory Maker but how much is the Photopass option? Do you just pay for each photo that you have taken in the park? I've not done this before and the web site does not explain Photopass very well. Any insight would be appreciated.

Memory Maker is the new name for "Photopass". It is the same cost.

You still have the option of ordering individual pictures taken without having purchased the MM but it is pricey.

Ok, good to know. I am not sure about it still. Wondering if it is worth $169 for a 1-day trip.

Just to give you an example- we've used Memory Maker/Photopass Plus for our last 2 trips. We ended up with over 400 photos- but that was over a week long vacation each time. We loved it but I don't think I would spend the money for one day. I would suggest taking a lot of pictures yourself and stop at as many photopass photographers as you can and ask them to take a picture with your personal camera. You can still have them take the professional photos and have your magicband or card scanned - this way if there is that one great shot you can purchase just that one. Have a great time!

Photopass is the name of the service. Memory Maker is the name of the product. For a 1 day trip, I would not get it. Take your camera and give it to every photographer you stop for. If they do any magic shots you would like to get, buy those from the Photopass website.

Thank you so much for the great info! I really appreciate it.
