PhotoPass - Tink picture?

Youre suprised you dont have any money left in your hands after spending that time at WDW.

That's a good one! Our "missing Tink" pic is below in my sig. Maybe I should change my caption to your line! We have 2 that they DID put Tink in - just not sure what happened with this one. We did all think it was pretty funny.

We were told to hold a straw hat and look at it with surprised looks on our face. (We were on Hollywood Blvd in MGM). We had no idea what was going on, and kind of forgot about it until we got home and checked our photopass photos. Stitch was popping out of the hat! It was a really fun picture ... and of course, I had to buy it!

I am a photographer. I do not know anything about the WDW photographers

I am also a photographer and last time there I made small talk with one of the photographer CM's in the MK. They are using Nikon D70 or Nikon D70S cameras (they're the same, one is just a newer release with new firmware).

The cameras are definately adequate to do that job. The D70S is a very good camera.

However, the CM herself said she felt a little intimidated to take a photo of me since I was carrying a NIkon D200 and she felt she was not a true photographer. She did a great job with our photo but she said that she's not a real photographer and that they get basic training on the camera.

They also use a 600 model Nikon Speedflash. Between the D70S and the Speedflash, there's many higher level settings that are to be learned to effectively use those cameras.

The CM informed me that she goes backstage every 30 mins or so for about 2 minutes so her manager can re-adjust the settings to the changing daylight.

I personally really enjoy the CM's, and they are more than capable of doing the job they do. However, I just found it surprising with how much they charge for a photo that they are not using trained photographers.

Just sounds sort of odd. However, the photos are generally fine.

When we were there in Jan., we bought the disc, and as he was loading them on the disc, everyone there was a character in, he would add there signature, and everyone where we had our hands out, he would put in the character himself, on the computer, that might be it.

I guess this is your update...

I sent photopass an e-mail and they replied saying that she would be added to the picture within the next 7 business days. I checked today and 1 of the 3 pictures with their hands out has Tink in it! Odd, but it happens to be the picture I like best, so all's well that ends well, I guess.

So thanks for all your helpful advice and also for the info about the Stitch photos. DS will want one of those! One more excuse for another trip!!
